You just have to believe there is someone. Here is what to do. |

Whenever I'm lucid and I want to go talk to someone who isn't nearby, I can never seem to find them. It seems impossible. Like I'll spend my whole dream flying around and going through walls, searching. Does anybody have any tips on finding people? |

There are many ways you can find or summon dream characters. They key is knowing you are in control of the dream. |

I use only one way of finding people, even though I'm going to try to stop using it. I close my eyes and imagine the person right in front of me, then I convince myself that they WILL be right there in front of me. And then they are... |

Personally, closing my eyes and telling myself that someone will be there never works for me. The other night, I just discovered a method that's really easy and works well for me. I wanted to find someone specific, and I saw a friend of mine. I walked up to her and asked if she had seen this person, implying that I already knew he was here. She said, "Yeah, he's around here somewhere," and proceeded to give me directions. Even though they were vague directions, they were enough to lead me to the person I was looking for. |

I would think (for someone who is real), just imagine going to somewhere they usually are, like a workplace or school or wherever. |

You don't even have to walk around. Just turn around and "know" that they'll be behind you. Visualizing them - what they'll be wearing, how tall they are, and what their presence is like really helps, too. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
