Taking in minute details, and really observing things closely, has certainly had an impact on the length of my LDs. What you did with the banana sounds like it could work well for prolonging dream time, although from my own experiences, sometimes I tend to forget about things I'm holding; they just sort of vanish unnoticeably. One minute I'm holding it in my hand, down at my side, and then the next moment I'm grasping air, wondering exactly when the item disappeared. If one holds it in front of them, or if they use dream control to have it float in the air in front of them, it might be easier if things tend to disappear in their dreams. |
