The first thing you need to remember is to not get frustrated no matter what happens. Of course, this is easier said than done. Congrats on getting lucid, btw. |

I've managed to become very successful in getting into a lucid dream and staying completely lucid. My dreams are very vivid, stable, and lucid, too -- for example, last night I was in a dream of my room. All the details were correct, running my hands over the blanket felt perfectly real, and I could even notice how being in a dream changed the way I was thinking. |

We were always dreaming of how it was going to be.

you must become aware in your dream. You will never get control unless you wake without actually waking up. you are right on the edge of it and when you do become aware, ooohhhhh mannnn!!!! |

Yeah, OwO has suggested something awesome, try verbal commands. Other than that, if you find you cannot control the dream directly, look around for nearby items such as a wand or anything that you can use similarly. This is a good way to avoid direct dream control, but if you want to gain direct dream control, you must try to let go of waking life's 'absolute rules' of physics. You could: |

Any questions about lucid dreaming? Drop me a PM here!
Confidence, determination, and focus together are key. I find that sometimes, when I do not feel in control of my waking life, that has a direct corrolation on lucid dream control. |

I second what Sageous has said here. As hard as it can be sometimes to change your mind in the middle of a dream, sometimes just taking your mind away from that concentration and effort of trying to control the dream and then doing something else that feels more comfortable can really help you with your control. You'll be able to relax and demonstrate to yourself other things that come naturally to you in the dream |

Spoiler for Goals:
There is another opinion as to what is the factor of control in dream. We are usually said it is mind over matter, but it could be different it could be that our dream world has a system and that we do not know our way around this system to get any desire we want. So it could be that those desires we usually get could be that the system makes it for us while we just want it, not necessarily that we are doing the controlling. So in this sense it is an illusion that we have control over the environment. |

Reading this thread an idea just came to me. I have this EXACT same problem. Had it for 3 years. whenever my lucids are vivid i have zero control. |
