Maybe looking at your hands isn't the right method of stabilization for you. I advice you to try another method such as shouting "Clarity!". One method I like to use is to pay attention all Senses in the dream such as: sight, smell, sound, touch etc. That way your properly anchored into the dream. |

Spoiler for Lucid Goals:
I will add on to what DreamGuy said. There are so many stabilization methods out there, and just because one didn't work for you, doesn't mean others won't! I would suggest doing what DreamGuy said. Take a moment to feel everything around you. Using a sense of touch in the dream is the most important sense that helps you stabilize a dream. Also, you can try to spin around and around very fast with your arm out if a dream begins to fade away. Spinning was proven to be a very affective method along with feeling everything around you. You can also try rubbing your hands as well when things start to fade away. Happy dreaming! |

Try actually repeating over and over "this is a dream" and ficus your attention on what ever visual image the dream has already provided. If you start dreaming and when you get lucid you were looking at a cat, then stay intent on examining how the cat looks, but keep reminding yourself in words that this is a dream. |

Thank you all guys, i'll try all these as soon as i'm lucid dreaming again! |

I would defiantly recommend just staying calm and just keep assuring yourself that you're dreaming at you will stabilise, but as the others say there are so many methods try them all out! |
