I can walk the walk and talk the talk but I CANNOT MAKE CRAP APPEAR!

      Yeah, cheesy title.
Anyways, hello~ uhm, I've been having frequent lucid dreams so I'm NOT a noob. The problem is, last night I had a lucid. I said "increase vividness" and the furniture in the room was re-organized. o.o?
Anyways, in this dream I spoke quietly. Why? I was afraid of it not BEING a dream. Maybe that ruined it?
I couldn't do anything... just talk, walk, etc,. I've never been able to summon or change my dreamscape.

Try changing your perspective on the dream. It sounds like you really weren't that confident, especially doubting if it was real or not. Even if you're already lucid, it's always good to do a reality check just to prove things. Anyways, I suggest you try and be more in charge of the dream. Don't play it normally and just try(keyword there) to make something appear. Know it's going to happen, completely expect it to, instead of just 'trying'. Act like whatever it was was totally supposed to happen.
I dunno, dream control is really about your mindset and being the boss of what goes on. Typically at the beginning you have to be a bit forceful to get what you want.

Don't fool yourself, if you're in a dream, you've summoned and changed everything in it. You did that, even if you don't realize it or understand how you did it. Summoning and change is second nature to anyone who sleeps. Unfortunately this sort of change is often like a ship with no one at the wheel.

I just wrote this thread http://www.dreamviews.com/f14/using-...9/#post1929272
maybe it will help you with creation and summoning.

Try summoning things under blankets! Whenever I've tried to make people appear, I never had success until I imagined the object or person I wanted to summon being under the blanket. When I do this, under the blanket I see movement as if the blanket is making space for whatever/whoever I am summoning, then when I pull the blanket away, success! Works every time. Good luck bro.

Following on from what Reisen said about expectation - You have to 'believe' it.
      Good luck

Or if believing is not enough.. You have to KNOW you can do it.

That was also one of my main problems in my lucid dreams. Try to get rid of any sense of uncertainty, and be confident that you can do it.

Edit: Oh, and also, to summon something, try summoning it somewhere in the dream. Like let's say for example, inside a drawer, and know that it's gonna be t here once you open it. Or in any random place inside the dream. Your own pockets can also work for smaller objects.

Povlovich's idea sounds awesome, never heard of that, I'm gonna try it thanks.

      Things I've done while Lucid:

      - Flying - Dream Rewind and Fast Forward
      - Invisibility - Shapeshifting - Grown Wings
      - Summoning [mastered (?)] - Zip lining
      - Fireball

Sometimes you cannot force confidence. I suggest experimenting with "easier" methods of summoning until eventually you can make things appear before you.

I sometimes struggle with this. Sometimes I can just click my fingers and voila, whatever I want appears, but sometimes it just will not happen. Like others have said, you can't really have any uncertainty in my mind. You have to know that you can do it.

A good technique for me is to imagine something behind a door. Open the door and it'll be there (and have no doubt about it). I like some of the ideas already mentioned e.g. imagining things in drawers, beneath blankets. You should have a go at some of these techniques.

      > I CANNOT MAKE CRAP APPEAR!

Laxatives are great for this problem. Ex-Lax is highly recommended.

      Prunes are also good.

Dried figs too, and dates, etc.

      Anything with lots of fiber.

I usually close my eyes, shout the command, and, through sheer belief, it appears as I open my eyes

You're confusing belief with focused attention.

I think the best think to do (well at least works for me) is when you become lucid, spare a moment in realising it while calming down, looking at your hands, etc. After a little all the doubt and/or fear goes away and because you just kept yourself from starting to do wild stuff, you'll be a lot more stimulated and forget your doubts.

Also you might consider using a container, like bag, pocket and blanket for humans as povlovich suggested works everytime! Closet works better for me! But for quick appearance of small objects like grenades, food, maybe a lightsaber just use the first dark bag/pocket you find and put your hand inside, move it around and imagine catching what you want to get out.

Something many people miss is that almost always when you look away and imagine an object in your hand, I mean how it feels and stuff, it appears. As you are experienced as you say, it's THE way. It's even used as a reality check for WILDs!
