      Failed Transformation

I found myself to be lucid after doing a couple of rcs, and I've been wanting to try to turn into an animal in a dream. I got the idea from a thread in this forum actually. Anyway, when I tried, all I could focus on was trying to turn my hands into paws. They weren't doing much of anything. Eventually my dream started destabilizing and I woke up. I'm not sure exactly what to do to make that work.

All I know is we must direct all attention away from your body and to our desired form. I'm trying to transform into an animal too. Let's get better together!

Maybe turning ourselves invisible first would help remove our attention from our human bodies? Then we imagine our desired form until it manifests itself?

I haven't done the invisible thing either, could be interesting.

I also am working on transformation. All I can say is that making your hands into paws sounds like a good start. Keep us updated on your progress!

I love transforming into animals! Watching videos of someone transforming into a wolf might help you to visualize it and then you could try to incorporate that visualization with the feeling of the transformation happening in a dream.
I really like the invisibility idea though! I've never tried that way before, and I'm really excited to now in my next lucid.

If you're looking for extra encouragement, you might like to talk to some of the people from this thread:

It sounds like CanisLucidus and Iokheira have some good advice on morphing into animals. :canislucidus:

I haven't been able to figure out how to become invisible. I am improving at manipulating my body though, by stretching, fusing, growing, and shrinking body parts to get what I want. I grew a beak for the first time last night, simply by stretching my jaw with my hand.

Maybe another method to get paws would be to sink your thumbs into your palms, constrict your fingers and grow your nails?

One time in a dream I became a lion.
It was fun tbh, I was non lucid , but as I realeased my instincts(thats how I felt, like releaseing it all )
My subc. imagined the body of a lion onto my 3D body and I was just fused into a lion.
It was very good , I felt freedom.
So what I want say that try to Imagine the body of an animal into your body , imagine it like if the animals body is a ghost and it merges with your body, like in a game , example: The player's npc merges with an animal by a glitch.

Jacobs got the right idea! Maybe the trick is to imagine a feeling until we actually feel it. I'll try that in my next transformation attempt.

Worked for me, since I got my favorite tail that way.

You could try using a mirror
or have an artist sketch/draw a few pictures of you turning into a wolf (you have to pre imagine it first), then hang it in your room so it gets ingrained into your subconscious and can assist you transform.
or simply visualize what you dream animal would look like when you awake, creating a powerful visualization practice will make it easier to expect it to happen in a dream

I took the form of a robot in a dream, it was a nightmare. In one dream I turned into a child, I was around 8 years old in that dream, I don't remember what happened. I'm 25 in real life. I wouldnt want to become an animal in a dream, but good luck with it!

I've been an animal in my dreams before, anthro though. And I didn't have to do anything, probably because I already have daydreams of being turned into an animal. So I'm going with constantly imagine yourself being turned into an animal.^^

(I know bad advice, but it still might work. :3 )
