When you are in a false awakening you are already in a dream or lucid dream. Generally, you should be thankful of getting many FA's, as it's is easier to get lucid from that point. Unless you mean something else by "false awakening"? |

It just means you are dreaming about waking up. This could be because you expect it to happen. As long as you catch your FA, you can continue dreaming. Just go fly out your window and have some lucid fun. |

Yes I'm currently facing the same issue, so I'm trying to automatically reality check by glancing at my alarm clock when I awake. This is easy enough when I really wake up, but I am yet to actually do it in a false awakening. |

Why do you think God is trying to punish you because you are trying to Lucid Dream? You must of failed something important that made you wake up. This happens to most people. I'm not trying to sound like an ass or anything. But if someone relays to God so much I really don't think they should be Lucid Dreaming if they think God is going to punish them for it. Sorry if anyone feels offended by this but I think people shouldn't try out Lucid Dreaming if they think their going to regret it. |

i never meant for people to think that god actualy intended to do this to me for the last time! it was just an expression to show the feeling i got from the false awakening. i am not saying that a divine power has put control on my dream! please do not mistake me for a person in which ties religion into everything! there was no intention to make god involved! ITS JUST AN EXPRESSION! |

I do not think punishment is the purpose of any response in lucid dreaming. Being placed in a learning environment is not punishment. |

Get into the habit of looking around, smelling the air, and trying to summon someone or something as you do in a dream. Do it with confidence. If you do manage to summon something, you're dreaming. Also, try RCing every time you wake up and get into bed, including when it's dark (the noseplug RC works regardless of whether or not it's dark). |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
