      god punishes by false awakening

everytime i've realized i was dreaming and i said it out loud my body would spin out of control and i would wake up... psych!

its just false awakening after false awakening... how do i bring myself out of one and back into lucidity of dreams or just a dream in general...

i dont want to be punished by god anymore just for realizing i was dreaming...

When you are in a false awakening you are already in a dream or lucid dream. Generally, you should be thankful of getting many FA's, as it's is easier to get lucid from that point. Unless you mean something else by "false awakening"?

God has nothing to do with you waking up from realizing that you are dreaming, you are not being punished by anyone. It is only yourself that makes you wake up, no one else.

Maybe you are too excited when you are in a lucid dream, and you then wake up from it. Next time, keep in mind to be calm right at the start. Right before going to bed just think of being calm when becoming lucid, or you can make affirmations like "I will be calm when I get lucid" and then repeat the sentence until you fall asleep.

      Good luck.

i used god as an expression of someone giving punishment for me achieving something.
i wasnt exited as the fact that i said in my dream "this is a dream".

so would it be possible that if i go into a false awakening, doing the spinning round and round trick would bring me to another situation or place..? is their anyway to escape a false awakening..?

It just means you are dreaming about waking up. This could be because you expect it to happen. As long as you catch your FA, you can continue dreaming. Just go fly out your window and have some lucid fun.

Get in the habit of reality checking every time you wake up.

Yes I'm currently facing the same issue, so I'm trying to automatically reality check by glancing at my alarm clock when I awake. This is easy enough when I really wake up, but I am yet to actually do it in a false awakening.

make a habit of RCing EVERY time you wake up. Pretty soon you'll be the next Walms!!

since I've been doing this I've caught at least one FA. and my amount of FAs has increased as well.

Why do you think God is trying to punish you because you are trying to Lucid Dream? You must of failed something important that made you wake up. This happens to most people. I'm not trying to sound like an ass or anything. But if someone relays to God so much I really don't think they should be Lucid Dreaming if they think God is going to punish them for it. Sorry if anyone feels offended by this but I think people shouldn't try out Lucid Dreaming if they think their going to regret it.

i never meant for people to think that god actualy intended to do this to me for the last time! it was just an expression to show the feeling i got from the false awakening. i am not saying that a divine power has put control on my dream! please do not mistake me for a person in which ties religion into everything! there was no intention to make god involved! ITS JUST AN EXPRESSION!

I do not think punishment is the purpose of any response in lucid dreaming. Being placed in a learning environment is not punishment.

Long ago, I was tested on the trinity. In religious metaphor, that is the father, the son, the holy spirit are one. In mundane terms, perception determines conception conception determines will.

I entered state. I wanted to practice mathematics, however, I entered state and found I needed to take a piss. So I got up and started for the bathroom. I noticed that the colors of the walls etc, were not right. I was instructed to go back to bed and try again. Second time, the colors were right, even the hand painted lamp on the bedstand. However, it was night and darkness alters colors, so I was not satisfied, I was instructed to go back to bed and try again. The third time, I checked and I double checked. Colors and shadows were right. But, I thought to myself, what I see is now perfect, but I am still not satisfied. A small voice, rather impatient asked, "Now what?" I explained that I was satisfied with the what I saw, however, I did not remember waking up. A moments pause, and the small impression of a voice said, okay, you win.

Perception, conception and will. These are the trinity of every environmental acquisition system. One must learn to distinquish between them. The purpose of the human mind is to effect human will. One can exit the state in one of two ways, being pushed out, or leaving by an act of will. By act of will I mean no will at all, in which case we drift into normal dream, or by directed will. I found I could wake up so fast it would make my head hurt--something I wont do again.

It was written that Lucid Dreaming would return at a specific time in history, along with other things. It was also noted that it was a place of instruction. One must remember, that there are two parts to the mind that must be instructed, not only the rational faculty, but the emotional as well. To believe that one will instantly understand the point of any lesson, is, to be plain, naive. Secondly, to believe that the learner and not the teacher controls the situation, is even more naive.

One measure of awareness is the ability to distinguish between the self and the not-self, or in other words one's environment. This is true even in the Lucid Dreamstate. As in all learning situations, one must know what they bring into it, and what is brought into it from without.

      Smile

      you just blew my mind.
yet it all makes sense in a way. have you actually gone to a school for this or was this apart of your dream in which you were instructed to make it better? or is it both? anyways the ideal of perception, conception, and will is a very excellent secular version of ourselves and everything else.

      thank you.

You should probably start sacrificing sheep.

Or, you know, just practice RCing whenever you wake up, like others have suggested.

Get into the habit of looking around, smelling the air, and trying to summon someone or something as you do in a dream. Do it with confidence. If you do manage to summon something, you're dreaming. Also, try RCing every time you wake up and get into bed, including when it's dark (the noseplug RC works regardless of whether or not it's dark).
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
