Pwnage anyone?
I was in Spanish class. We were doing a project where you made a game, but so far I'd done all the work. In fact, my group members hadn't even shown up for the past couple of classes. The class ended, and while I was walking to my next class someone I hadn't talked to in years randomly started walking with me and chatting. I thought this was a bit strange, but I wouldn't have minded being friends again. We stopped at our Spanish class, and I was like, "uhh, I just came from this class." What did I have after Spanish? Oh right, math. I started walking to the math buildings, now accompanied by a different person I never talk to.
When we got to my math class, I realized that she was going to cut her next class, but I decided not to do anything because I was already going to be late. I went into my class and saw that there was only my teacher and a couple other adults. I must have gone to the wrong class. I went back outside and asked what period it was. The person I was with earlier said that it was C period, which was Spanish, but I'd just come from Spanish. I realized that it was Monday. Was it possible that I'd gone to the wrong first two classes and neither of my teachers had noticed? My Spanish teacher could be a bit unobservant, but I didn't think my B period teacher would also not notice. This sort of thing usually only happens in dreams, I thought.
Instead of going to my Spanish class, I went to the library (which was in the wrong spot). Inside I saw that we had a creepy, middle-aged, hadn't-shaved-in-a-couple-days male sub. He challenged me to try to attack him. I'm not sure exactly where I became lucid, but I remember trying to do a hand RC and then thinking, "screw it, I already know that this is a dream." I started hitting him, but my hits didn't do anything but make him laugh. I kneed him, barely missing his crotch. He fell to the floor, but he was laughing as he said, "hey now, no punching, that's not nice; but you can give me a BJ."
I knew that my goal was to find Axel, but first this guy had to pay. Besides, I wanted to go with the dream plot because I'd heard it was good for keeping the dream stable. So you see, in the name of stability I had to beat him up. He was still on the ground, so I started kicking him and stomping on his ugly, whiskery neck. He got up and started fighting back.
I switched to third person and started completely owning him, Matrix style, complete with super speed and running up walls and everything. I pulled him up a wall with me and continued to "fight" (in a very loose sense of the word; "pummel" might be more fitting here) him. At one point I had a little mental conversation with myself that went something like this:
"Am I losing lucidity?"
"...Err, no. Duh."
And thus the pummeling continued.
I started wondering whether I could switch back to first person. Third person kicked him away from the wall, straight at the camera (for lack of a better word for my point of view). I grabbed him (1st person) and swung him around, then kicked him down at the ground. I watched my third person self fall with him, and realized that I was now in control of two people.
The camera jumped to a new spot, and I saw that the floor had been replaced with orange mist and a hole that went down who knows how far. I had third person continue to beat him up, but basic story-writing skills and roleplaying manners had taught me not to make myself invincible because it's boring, so I let him get in a punch and 3rd started falling. I wanted to switch back to first person and try to fight him, because this was no challenge, so I imagined myself in the place of 3rd, falling through the fog.
The dream destabilized, and I heard my cousin say that she'd saved me by teleporting me. I saw the edge of a brick wall briefly, but it disappeared. My cousin kept talking, so I opened my eyes, expecting to see her behind me. Too bad I didn't recognize that it was just HH and remember that eyes can move during REM.
