      [MILD-1] Matte87's Workbook

      Hi! I'm Matte87. This is my Workbook for the MILD classes with PercyLucid.

      My DJ: Dreamviews Lucid Dreaming Community & Resource - Mattelicious Dreams - Dream Journals

      I couldn't make it to the first class, and not sure I can the next either. But I've read everything being said last night on the chat.

      Here's the first assignment. I will update with an answer tomorrow!

      How did I feel during the day?:

      Thoughts during the day: Alot about Lucid Dreaming, will I get another one soon? How often should I set the alarm off during the morning. Should I focus on recall or just sleep as much as I can? What if B6 vitamin makes me dependant on them, and I can't recall without them? Perhaps I should rebound my REM more often than once a week...

      Some about my future, since I have to start studying. Not sure it's worth studying 4 years to get like 1000€ a month less. But if I can't do much about it, I might aswell deal with it, but this always give me some anxiety. Crappy stupid wrist injuries!

      I wonder how long I can keep up meditating... I have to start doing that soon. Will try to do it tomorrow!

      5 minutes before bed: Reading fantasy for 20 minutes.
      5 minutes after bed: I clear my mind using the chest technique. Actually works pretty well! Only the strongest
      emotions are left behind if I allow myself to think of them. I then chant "I lucid dream" for a few minutes until I lose focus...

      I usually fall asleep very quickly, and don't dwell on things to come the next day or what's happened during the day.
      Only if I'm going to work, that might disturb my sleep, making me wake up a few times during the morning to make sure
      I haven't overslept.

      Thoughts during the day: Alot about Lucid Dreaming again. Not as much today as last day. Didn't RC more than 10 times perhaps.

      Some more about my future. But not enough to make me feel bad really. I'm being distracted by computer games and DV chat haha.

      I didn't meditate last night. I want to do it, but somehow I cba... I'm way too lazy...

      5 minutes before bed: DV Chat, INTRO/DC class with Serenity.
      5 minutes after bed: I clear my mind using the chest technique. Not very thoroughly though but it seems to be enough. I am very sleepy... A few: "I will Lucid" before I decide to just sleep.

      Thought some about LD when I woke up this morning, and had a LD while taking a 15 minute nap! Sweet Dreamfruit eaten!

      Thoughts during the day: Lucid Dreaming again. I was very happy the entire day because I got to eat dreamfruit, and I felt really good! I know I will get another lucid dream soon and I have already made up my mind on another dreamgoal. Which I probably will have to change since you said something about us getting an assignment to do in a LD, Awesome! Did alot of RCs during the day.

      I have the same thoughts over and over, about my future. This is not going to stop until I've got a stable one, and that might take a few months... But I try not to dwell on it too much!

      I did meditate some in the shower last night. Wasn't long but I felt really relaxed and could breathe, I tried burying my emotions with the chest technique and I'm still amazed that anxiety can just go away and stay in that chest if I don't think about it anymore.

      5 minutes before bed: Reading
      5 minutes after bed: I clear my mind using the chest technique. I lost track and had to do it again after a while since thoughts about my future popped back up, most have forgotten to lock it properly Chanted some: "I lucid dream" and started wondering if it's effective in English since I'm Swedish? Perhaps I should switch to Swedish instead? but then it's gotta be longer...

      Woke up with just three fragments and one dream after 10 hours of sleep, gotta rebound my REM tomorrow.

      Ah thank you! I have had them naturally so I don't have to work as hard as some people hehe. The chest technique is something you learn in MILD class, and it's basicly that you visualize an open chest, and you go through all the events during the day. And you feel like you felt during those events, and then you imagine putting them inside the chest, getting rid of them totally. Then you lock up the chest, and you can meditate some without thoughts interrupting!

      When you have a blank mind and nothing to bother you, you can think of something you want to dream. And also to chant and focus on a mantra, like: "I lucid dream". Hope it helps! And don't be afraid to try out the dreamfruit you too when you get a chance!

      Thoughts during the day: Lucid Dreaming and my future still dominating. A bit of planning ahead for this week, going to work on Friday.

      REM-Rebound tomorrow... Damn it's boring to not be able to dream anything, then wait like 16 to go to bed and do it. Well, it's gotta be done!

      5 minutes before bed: At the computer
      5 minutes after bed: Have a hard time falling asleep... It's almost 5.00 am and I lie there for quite some time without success. I finally drift off...

      Thoughts during the day: Lucid Dreaming and not so much about my future actually. I made a movie yesterday which kept me occupied.

      REM-Rebound Day! Aaaaaaaand a repairman comes over at 10.20. Which means I didn't get more than 7 hours of sleep... No dreams in two days. Frustrating!

      5 minutes before bed: At the computer
      5 minutes after bed: Clearing my mind with chest technique, but I'm so tired it doesn't really work well. I fall asleep within minutes.

      Thoughts during the day: Lucid Dreaming! No dreams in two days, so 100% focus on LD.

      5 minutes before bed: At the computer
      5 minutes after bed: Clearing my mind with chest technique. Doesn't work very wel. Do it later in the morning after WBTB though, and it works alot better!

      No Lucid today though...

      Thoughts during the day: Lucid Dreaming!

      5 minutes before bed: At the computer
      5 minutes after bed: Haven't done the chest technique in a few days, I've been busy with other stuff IRL. Work has started and I need to sort that out.

      I will start focusing more when I'm done with work, at the end of this week probably.

      *EDIT* I just read the MILD chat and it was awesome! I am totally worked up about incubation. I will daydream about that dessert a few times a day, and do the same with only Visual and perhaps Feeling before I go to sleep. See the place, and feel the sand.

      I have incubated before, and it was totally awesome. I hadn't had sex or anything in a while, and I wanted to have a sex dream. I managed to do it! So this shouldn't be too hard if I just focus 100% and really believe in it. I so want that reward! ^^,

      Thoughts during the day: Lucid Dreaming, alot about incubation and work.

      5 minutes before bed: At the computer
      5 minutes after bed: Tried doing the chest technique, incubation and meditation. Nothing helped me fall asleep and I ended up being awake for a long time.

      Touching sand IRL might help with it? I also think about a desert in the shower, it gets very hot! Haha.

      Thoughts during the day: Lucid Dreaming, alot about incubation and work again.

      5 minutes before bed: Reading
      5 minutes after bed: Did the chest technique and then incubated desert. Really tired and fell asleep fast, but woke up again and incubated again.

      I've done 5-10 minute long sessions of imagining a desert. 4 sessions today. I imagine feeling the heat of the sun, and the sensation of sand under my feet and sand running through my hand. I think this is gonna work.

      Don't recall any dreams, but woke up with my writing block in my hand. I'm sure I dreamt something fun tho!

      Thoughts during the day: I haven't thought much about Lucid Dreaming these couple of days. My recall is very low and I'm stressed out because of work and my future.

      5 minutes before bed: Reading
      5 minutes after bed: Meditated a few minutes, then I fell asleep. I'm very tired atm.

      We'll see what happens in the future, but atm I'm just tired.

      5 minutes before bed: Computer
      5 minutes after bed: Fell asleep right away

      It's friday, and I'm about to go to sleep. I will sleep for atleast 10 hours. Finally! I will focus on becoming lucid. We'll see what happens, I will take b6 before bed, and b6 in the morning.

      5 minutes before bed: Computer
      5 minutes after bed: A bit of incubation, but sleep comes within minutes.

      Got 12½ hours of sleep. I did incubate a desert while being awake in the morning, and I found out that it was very easy! I guess it's because I didn't have any thoughts from during the day going through my head. I did incubate a dream of sorts. And I will try to incubate the desert next time.

      Just read the MILD chatlog for class three, awesome as always Percy!

      I haven't tried very hard this week, but I will get back on the horse for sure.

      I do the meditation technique but I imagine breathing in crisp, crystal clear, wonderful blue air. And then I imagine breathing out smoke and all my worries.

      I won't be able to WBTB during the night, since my girlfriend has a hard time falling back asleep if I wake her up. But I will try to stay awake for a few minutes every time I wake up, and incubate the desert.

      Sunday 10th of October - I accidentaly skipped 3 days haha!

      Thoughts during the day: My future, I am getting close to making a big decision, but I still don't know what I will do.

      5 minutes before bed: Meditation
      5 minutes after bed: Meditation - 20 minutes total.

      I meditated on my shakti mat for 20 minutes which was very nice. Made me very relaxed and I even had more dreams. I'm not sure if it was because of the meditation or the b6 I took before bed. But I think it might be both

      Thoughts during the day: My future. The decision has been made! I now know what I will do. Feels good, but still some anxiety until I know exactly how it plays out.

      5 minutes before bed: Talking to my girlfriend
      5 minutes after bed: Talking to my girlfriend.

      No meditation last night. I had an argument with my girl and had to sort it out. We ended up talking over an hour. But we made up before I went to bed, so no bad thoughts followed me to the dreams! I will try to meditate tonight, and incubate the desert some.

      Thoughts during the day: Alot of different thoughts about all kinds of stuff. Kinda had a headache at the end of the day.

      5 minutes after bed: Reading

      No meditation last night. I fell asleep very fast. Will try tonight! I need to think more about Lucid Dreaming. I will try now that my future is more "secure"

      This indeed takes over a lot of your consciousness. Future-triggering decisions takes all your focus from all. Work hard on whatever your decision is

      More about the "decision" : I have wrist injuries, and I work as a construction worker. I love my job. I am currently rehab-working a few hours a day, and will do so for three more weeks after this one. If it turns out my wrists can't take it, I will have to quit my job. I just decided what I will do if that happens, and I will take a full time class, studying to become an engineer next fall. So if I lose my job, I will have all the time in the world (except for an hour or so a day for pre-studying) to focus on Lucid Dreaming, which I will do!

      Thoughts during the day: A happy day, with few thoughts. I just focused on what I was doing at the time, and didn't worry too much about the future.

      5 minutes before bed: Meditating
      5 minutes after bed: Meditating

      Tried to meditate for 20 minutes last night, but I only got to 13-14 before I fell asleep on the shakti mat. My girlfriend awoke me and told me she wanted to read, but I just wanted to sleep. We got in an argument and I ended up being angry. But we made up before we fell asleep. I don't know why I snapped at her really, but I think it was because I just wanted to sleep and I was soooo tired! Still looking for more motivation to start focusing 100% again. Will watch some dream movies later on.

      Thoughts during the day: Nothing special. A bit about lucid dreaming but not too much.

      5 minutes before bed: Reading
      5 minutes after bed: Reading

      I had some thoughts about dreaming before I went to bed, and I woke up several times during the night. Each time I had a new dream on my mind and tried doing a little bit of mantra work and relaxation every time I woke up. Must have worked or something because I became semi-lucid in one dream! Sweet.
