uh oh...has acceptance time passed? I'm gonna go take a nap and hopefully I'll receive a PM after I wake up. Is there a place where I can find more information about the classes or will I be told everything in the PM?

I do not have the ability to add you I need Naiya to do that. Please be patient. Most of the information is in the catalog and more will be in the PM/syllabus.

suppose i miss a class(though i hope not to) ... will we get a transcript of the class?
The professors are required to keep a transcript. If they do not, then you can take it up with me.

Naiya was great in the first WILD lecture. She covered everything and was patient to answer every question. 10/10 can't wait for the next lecture!

I will be posting a thread on the 28th at 12:00am GMT-7 this will contain the syllabus and all class information.

The thread will be updated with new class info. On days when I am here I will be in the IRC to discuss material posted in the forum. And to answer questions.

I've been registered in the forums for about a week, and one of the classes start on August 4th. My two weeks will be up on the 3rd, so do the two weeks count for when you register in a class or for when the class actually starts? Thanks.

We really have that rule because a lot of new members to DreamViews will just stop coming to the forum within a couple of days. Setting a 2 week limit makes it more convenient for the professor (as well as DVA staff) because students who sign up after the 2 weeks are less likely to stop showing up to classes, making the professor wonder where their student went. It also helps make it more fair for those who are more serious about joining.

We don't really enforce it however. Go ahead and sign-up for a class. If you PM your professor about this, I'm sure they would appreciate it that you have some respect for the rules.

Naiya's class was brilliant. It allowed for quite a bit of flexibility, and I wouldn't have been able to participate as much as I did otherwise.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

Naiya was great, all in all I got two lucid dreams. Which is two more than I would have had otherwise. So thank you Naiya!

I am really enjoying Percy's MILD class, and am learning a lot of great things. His method of MILD is what I was looking for in an induction technique and he has a knack for teaching the subject well and in a logical sequence. I personally wouldn't know how/where to start. Its good!

I have a question, though. After this semester ends, will we still be able to acess the class thread and chat logs or will the DVA forums lock up for those not taking a class? I mean should I copy the transcripts so I have them in a safe place or is there no need because I will be able to return and view them?

Your access to the DVA sub forums will be removed. If you want you can copy/paste the transcripts. But don't give them to anyone or repost them. Unless of course you have DVA permission.

I know it's an inconvenience but it's nessacary.

Alright, thanks for the clarification! I will copy and paste today.
When does our acess get removed? I mean there will be a fourth and final lecture tomorrow so is it rightt after the lecture or is it the next day? Should I copy/paste straight from the chat or will I be able to wait until the transcript is posted in the thread?

Umm that is dependent upon when Percy submits his roster for removal. And then when Louie does the actual removal process.

Here's more positive comments about the class!

<Motley> Mr. Percy, you are a great teacher and I have learned a lot about the topic. You were very efficient and I appreciated your support and caring for us even though you didn't get paid or reimburced in any way. It was very kind of you. This method of mild that you taught was also very great, as the mnemonic method was too boring and ineffective and this one actually worked great! I was looking for a technique that was exactly like you described. Just your efforts from your will and soul to get you a lucid drea

      [21:35] <@PercyLucid> thanks a lot!
[21:35] <Motley> Thanks to you I got a great lucid dream that is the first in many years since I have taken a hiatus from lucid dreaming and have changed my name since then. (on DV of course, not life) and I truly appreciate this.

Okay i think i just need to say one thing. PERCYLUCID IS AMAZING. He really put a lot of work into the class. Im sad its over. Ive sent him so many PM's and he answerd them so kindly and fast. He tought me more than i thought someone could on MILD. I know he has ben very busy but he still found a way to be the best MILD teacher ever

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
