I love exploring and completely ignore most quests for as long as possible. THe only exception is the thieves guild. I'm just now getting into it (at level 17). I was having too much fun just covering the map to be bothered with it. But I steal everything I can lol. I'm constantly breaking into homes.

For those who want a cheat (that's not *really* a cheat for a thief)... whenever you train, pickpocket your money back, save the game and continue

The hardest enemies I've encountered thus far have been hired thugs. I'd much rather fight a dragon than just one of the thugs (let alone the 3 that weren't sent for me!).

Another complaint is that stealing and sneak are MUCH too easy. I've had bad guys walk inches beside me and not see me as I shot them full of arrows. And so long as the item you're stealing isn't in the NPC's direct line of sight, they don't notice you taking it.
I still hate how dark the game is, but what can you do? I need a new tv.
Anyone know of any enchanted weapon or armor with light or "feather"? I miss those the most out of enchanted gear.

Haha, I was actually just on my way to start the thieves guild with my new character. I don't completely ignore quests, but I do get sidetracked all the time when I'm traveling :p Like, heading towards a town and suddenly, hey is that a tower over there? Traveling turns into quite the adventure in and of itself.

I'm also being sneaky, and have also had that awkward moment with someone looking directly at me, standing there for a moment, then going "Guess it was nothing."
I was just looking for a video related to this when I stumbled opun something even better.

Here's something that makes me really, really look forward to when the CS comes out.
I had no idea about this, but almost all of Tamriel is already in Skyrim, well technically.

I ran right past it and into another room... The door should be locked until the 'boss' is dead. Fail.
Hahah, awesome. Actually that just never occured to me. I usually at least try to kill whatever is trying to kill me. (Exceptions: Spriggan)

Also, do you people find the children in Skyrim annoying? o.0 Apperantly a lot of people really don't like them, or at least that's the way it seems on this other forum I'm on. But then again, over there they hate everything.
Spoiler for Good god, this will get Skyrim banned in all the countries:

      EDIT:

Pickpocket is maybe the easiest skill to raise if you do it right, without cheats. Just get the first perks on pickpocket and steal all the time

Stealth is easy, in a way. Problem is what you sacrifice by playing stealthy character. Since your focus in on light armour, your defense is pretty crappy. That's why I BOOMF most of them with my 30x backstab and then start to whack them with dual blades. There is lot of carrying capacity increasing gear if you have problem with carrying items?

Anyway, on the difficulty of the game. Some my friends have told me that fights are too easy, but personally playing Khajiit light armour assassin with blade + dagger, I find it constant fight for survival. I play on second hardest difficulty and most of the melee fights are downright suicide to me. One crappy dodge and I am gulping potions down. Of course, my friend rushed this through with heavy armour shield bearing juggernaut and did not have that much of a problem. I however, always play my games with kind of multiclass character, which adds nice difficulty to it. Besides, sneak characters have always more fun

Anyway, I never have understood people who run RPGs through as fast as they can. Especially ES games. I have just followed the wind and ended up in pretty awesome places. Fact is this game has more quests than ever. And most of them are pretty good and captivating. Especially the booze drinking contest and the aftermath

Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

The scenery is so beautiful! I have never stopped to admire scenery, as I have in this game. Skyrim even affected a dream I had the other night, too. I was using a sword (which I never do) and tried to kill someone, but he put his sword on me and I actually felt it and woke up! This game is a lot of fun, too! I love exploring and finding hidden places and treasures.
From the darkness, a beauty arises; a mystery, seeking the light~

Oh dear, this is bad. Another "The Good, The Bad and the Dovahkiin" is made, and I'm still holding off watching them due to spoilers.

I also finished the Dark Brotherhood. T'was interesting.
      Spoiler for Dark Brotherhood spoilers:

Now it's either back to my good character, or complete the Thieves Guild
And I still haven't found Sheogorath, and I really want to meet him!

As amazing as the game is... I am taking a break for awhile. I played too much around Thanksgiving break, that it had affected my dreams to the point where I would reply to conversations with dialogue that was in subtitles and I would run around with a bow in my lower peripherals. Eventually I'll jump back on Skyrim, eventually.
