Thread: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Oh yeah! That reminds me; I started writing a dumb fan-fiction over on FIMFiction.net. You can check it out -> here <- if you want. I'll update it again one of these days, promise. Probably tonight or tomorrow.

I was gonna share some random crap I've drawn recently to make Taffy feel better (because, Taffy, your art is way cooler than mine) but I don't really feel like rounding up the links an' I have to go t'a work in like 20 minutes. :c

Been considering writing one myself, not because I feel particularly inspired, or have anything interesting to write about probably, but because I keep reading stories that are decent, but the writing is absolutely horrendous.

I almost never read fanfiction but this is pretty interesting (just finished prologue).Not as good as spiderses of course, but eh. //slapped *clicks to the next page*

Please do post some art work if you get the chance, I'd love to see. owo

Edit: finally got a chance to watch the last episode of the season. I feel like it'd make a good series finale, really anything past this point would be, well, beating a dead horse. I really liked the third song, when it was raining and twilight was laying on her bed. Just wish it was longer, it was most likely the shortest song in the episode. :/

Sometimes the simpler ones have the most impact. I'd prefer stylish and clean over extremely complex any day.

I hated removing that classic and obviously humorous video of the original MLP. However, when the video ends you get the added bonus of "suggested smut" from YouTube and it can't stay.

I watched the Sonic Rainboom episode with my daughter today. I've seen it a few times of course as she watches it every time she can. I gotta admit to something...every time I see the episode, I get teary when Rainbow Dash makes the Sonic Rainboom and saves everyone.

I haven't made it to the end yet. It's such a long movie. I would assume that the smut ads at the end are all My Little Pony traps.

Yes, they were all My Little Pony traps...if by "My Little Pony traps" you mean links to really naughty videos involving people not dressed like ponies, sure.

Gr, I'm trying to find this one piece of fanart, it was of twilight sparkle from like the neck up + hooves. She was leaning over a book, she may have had glasses but I can't remember. It was particularly anime styled, that I am certain. Oh well, it was a nice drawing too...

I ended up with something in my eye as Celestia started singing in the S3 finale. While I'm very much undecided over the direction the show is heading -- I'll wait and see how they develop it -- it's an incredibly touching song (probably the most touching moment in the show IMO), set to a truly beautiful melody. It's very rare that a piece of music can move me that deeply.

Really makes me wish they'd release the music from this officially. Or at least tell their audio engineers not to apply so much reverb into the left and right audio tracks so it's impossible to completely remove vocals / voices / most sound effects :/

Hahaha, I was watching the great bible challenge with my stepdad, and one of the categories was basically "is the following a bible term or a my little pony character?" The contestants thought sapphire shores was a bible term, and internally I'm going "nnnoooo, that's wrong." My stepdad was like, "who even knows this?" and I was struggling not to laugh because I got them all correct in my mind. > w > < w <

Speaking of sapphire shores, there needs to be more sensational fan art of her.

Well I didn't watch S4 Ep. 08 yet but the first seven are off to something the series haven't really seen before, With the unanswered questions going on like "Who's the shadowy figure?" and "What's with the comic book at the end of the Power Ponies ep.?"

There definitely is a lot of continuity in the new season, it's pretty interesting. I think we're in for an interesting season finale.

I still need to catch up anyways lol.

So glad to find some bronies on here, and extra glad to find people here who won't lose their crap by this thread.
But yeah, I still need to watch Episode like 4-newest in season 4. :3

Glad to see that there are some bronies here though! I think I feel ready to reveal myself to the world about this thing, because lately I've mainly stayed in the background forums inside the fandom. :/

So, how's it going here? What you you think of how Season 4 went and Rainbow Rocks went? I like how the music battle at the end of Rainbow Rocks went, and it was pretty easy for me to see the sirens were on their way out. I also like the song in the credits of the movie.

Oh yeah, Come to think of it Daniel Ingram is now of some interest to me musically in realms beyond MLP: FIM. When I get interested in a musician I often follow that musician for a while.

It certainly has a following. There are over half a million images of it on Derpibooru; some are screen-caps and some are comic-book scans and some are fan-art. (Though not all is SFW.)

Rainbow Rocks was better than the first movie, but not by a crazy amount. S4 was pretty good, but not as good as the following seasons.
