Go insane for me, I'm that selfish you see
We're a wicked rhyme, a line followed
By the darkest picture, making everyone cry
Do you know of any other good Steely Dan albums? From what I've heard of them like 90% of it is dry and kind of easy listening, but some of it is fucking badass. It all depends on how the drummer and the singer sound. |

157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Well, IMO their best album that I've heard of theirs is Can't Buy A Thrill. Any major dude will tell you (I kill me) that it's one of their most well known (Reelin' In The Years is on there) and beat albums (and it also featured David Palmer's singing, most notably on Dirty Work (a song I knew of for some time before realizing it, only because Fagen's voice is absent). Gaucho is also good, opening with Babylon Sisters and Hey Ninteen (they're mostly good songs on there). Most of their stuff is kinda chill and jazzy, if you're into that kinda stuff then there won't be an album without at least one song you like. (To all) if you like their music also check out The Doobie Brothers. |
