Favorite Comic book hero or villian?

Please list your favorite comicbook hero or villian and leave a description why you admire them.

I'll start w/ me.

My favorite comicbook hero is Captain America.

He has an amazing fighting style, his suit is splendid(I dig the stars and stripes) and the reason he fights is a testament to the american soldier. That would be awesome if he was a real character.

So yeah, list your favorite hero or villian, i love to hear from different people and see there opinions!

Batman has always seemed like the coolest "super" hero to me because he's always been a bit of an underdog, having no supernatural powers. He uses wits, martial know-how and technology to his advantage, and that, my friends, is simply awesome.

...I must admit that in the beginning, Batman's getup was a bit of a joke, especially in the Adam West show. But the more recent incarnations of the bat suit has made it a must-have for any comic book-obsessed cosplay geek. It is of his modern image that I approve.

Green Lantern (Hal Jordan). Willpower and imagination. Creating weapons with your mind is awesome.

Deadpool. He's funnier than Spider-man. His fighting skills are on par with wolverine, and he uses guns and swords. Not to mention, he gets paid for his work. Oh and did i mention he's crazy? He once made his own sound effects for two pages straight and didn't notice it. That's worth something right?

~Alot of people compare captain america to the wonderous Batman, he has the wits of a true genius.

Haha yes it is! I once created a submachine gun in a dream, so i was grateful! But its wierd that they have two green lanterns. Why is that nomad?

Deadpool is really cool in the movie,"Wolverine origins" but he didn't have his mask. Did he always have a mask or was it changed only in that movie?

That movie ruined deadpools image! He doesn't have laser eyes, he doesn't have katana's coming out of his arms, he wasn't on the original weapon x program! he's known as the merc with a mouth, and they took that away! And he almost ALWAYS wears his mask. (picture him at home, in his boxers, eating cereal and watching tv....he gets a phone call....if it's about a job, he'll put them on hold and put his mask on and then resume the convo) He can teleport, but it's something he uses on his belt, and he doesn't spam it like he did in the movie. And DP would have to be having an excellent day to keep Wolverine and Sabertooth on their toes like that.

And yes...I still love spider-man, he's a close number two, but I haven't liked his recent comics.

Yeah, it might've ruined his image because he didn't have or do anything in the movies. But, idk, he still was a good character but its a bummer that they left out those details! Damn hollywood! Haha. Yes spider-man is terrific imo as well!

Thats funny, he's eating cereal then he goes off and gets paid wherever hes needed.

If you played the game Marvel vs. Capcom on consoles, juggernaut turns out stronger than hulk. But the Hulk is kinda cool, you got a scientist by day, and a monster by...whatever.

@Sigurd, I also wanted to be a Navy SEAL for about 4 or 5 years, but then I decided to become an actor instead. have you seen the Discovery channel documentary on BUD/S training? If not, you should definitely check it out.

My favorite villain would be Venom. The outfit is what counts the most for me, also the way the uniform transforms

And my favorite hero would be Dr. Manhattan, I mean come on he can manipulate time, space, and quantum particles.

Yeah, how'd that work out Maverick? I've been wanting to do this for a bit. I have huge commitment and I know i have to train hard to pass BUD/S. Its great to have people support me. Unfortunately there are some that dont. Hey, Maverick you've attending acting school and stuff like that or what?

Well I'm a senior in high school still, so I've doing some theater stuff. After I grad I plan on taking some acting classes and workshops in LA.

I decided about a year ago that the whole SEAL lifestyle just isn't for me.
