What?

You unlock kill streaks of your choice, then you choose 3 of them to use in game. When he got the chance to unlock one, he decided to then go for the nuke. But he hasn't got a 25 kill streak since then.

p.s. you start off with UAV, drop crate thingy, and predator missile as default.

Predator missiles are soooooooooo fun.

still don't have it. My local video store is going out of business, and buy 1 get 1 xbox games and $5 movies kinda caught me. I'll need to save up enough to get it (again).

Looks amazing though, can't wait till I have it.

You need a perk. A perk is like an unlockable ability that you get the more you play.

Okay, I have played MW2. Note that I haven't played online, though I doubt that changes anything.
I was playing on the frozen submarine level with my two brothers, and I got a 4 kill streak to call in a care package, which gave me a random kill reward. I got the Apache Helicopter. All I can say is that it is far from overpowered. I haven't watched the video (yet) but I will say this: It was sitting almost directly on top of my brother, with no cover around, and fired a volley of 10-12 shots. One shot hit him in the chest, and wasn't even powerful enough to kill him on hardcore mode (the way we always play.) Also, the first rocket launcher you get is an At-4, which can lock on to vehicles and take them down.

Now, the Harrier Jet Strike is slightly different. It was only up against two people, but for the 45 seconds it was there, it struck each of them down with 2 -3 bullets and (provided they weren't smart enough to get to cover and instead shot at it) hit with almost every shot.

Shit.
My PS3 was being a bitch and not reading discs, so I spent 170 dollars on Beatles rock band and I decided not to preorder this.

I meant things that happen in the game. Like in singleplayer. I don't want to know what happens in certain levels and what not.

I don't understand your hostility, but what you described is practically the same as a perk. You have a set of kill-streak perks, you get to chose which ones you use.

I hear supermarkets are the way to go if you haven't bought a copy yet, £26 in asda, £25 in tesco... oohyesss

It wasn't hostility... But anyway, yea, I suppose it is a similar concept as perks, but it's name isn't "perks", that name has already been given to other things.

Consoles are the way to game. I assume it would be possible to hook my Xbox 360 up to my large, high quality PC-monitor?

And will I ever get used to controlling a FPS with an Xbox 360 controller?

I started to play Online today (On PC) It's totally awesome and I looooooooooveee it!!! Only problem is the lack of Dedicated servers D=

I hope they'll put somes eventually.

Woo just rented this game today! Been playing it for about 4 hours straight.

I just bought this on the way home from work.... About to go try it now, I hope it's worth my money....

I'll admit, the trailers made it look absolutely fucking sick, so if story line is half as good as it looked, I'll be satisfied. Multiplayer I assume will be much of the same as what we've already seen, and that's good enough.

Spoilers. It's my opinion about the storyline.

I was actually pretty confused with the storyline at times. I wasn't really sure what was going on most of the time.

They did a good job with the storyline on the first one. This one wasn't so great imo.

A PC only gives you bullshit if you give it bullshit first. Know how to handle a computer, and you will be given a gamer experience of much higher quality than what you will ever have on a console.

About the game, I finished the single player yesterday and was absolutely blown away. The story definitely has some gaping plotholes, but the flow of the game was still very intense and a lot of fun. About the story being difficult to understand, I disagree. Just listen carefully to what is being said. Also, having played the first game makes the story a bit easier to digest.

I've only played the multiplayer for a short while, and while it seemed like good fun, I can't imagine myself playing it for more than one hour at a time. There are too many imbalanced game mechanics and some of the maps suffer from poor design.
About the technical side, the lack of dedicated servers obviously eliminates any kind of serious competitive play. Getting a server with a good latency is not very hard, but if the host leaves, the game will freeze for a little bit, until a new host is found. If a new host is not found, the game will end. Modding and mapping is not possible, there's no console available.

Fucking consoles destroying what we know as gaming.

I don't get all the COD hype. It always seemed like nothing more than an average FPS to me.

CoD is and has always been, simply put, a really great FPS. The Infinity Ward developed ones atleast.

PCs.

Insert disk. Hit the "next" button until game is installed. Play said game.
