The worst thing that can happen to a good cause is, not to be skillfully attacked, but to be ineptly defended. - Frédéric Bastiat
I try to deny myself any illusions or delusions, and I think that this perhaps entitles me to try and deny the same to others, at least as long as they refuse to keep their fantasies to themselves. - Christopher Hitchens

157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

That's nice. The government gives us a recession and then puts people in jail for not being able to pay fines. The oppression continues to grow. |

How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
All while Wall Street is allegedly hitting record highs, this [last] quarter. Any healthy dose of skepticism would have someone wondering how much of what is going on is engineered, and how much of it is by pure chance. If one is open to the former possibility, the dissinters (which the WH has gone on record as trying to discredit) don't really seem all that crazy anymore, do they? |

It really might have been orchestrated for that purpose. No amount of conspiracy or corruption surprises me any more. |

Can someone with some time, and an interest in these things, run through this material and verify it? I just watched the video and have downloaded the .PDF, but I don't know when I'll have time to go through it. |

No, that's not how politics work in the US. States have the power to do as they please. Maryland passed a gun control law but meanwhile Texas would be more likely to pass gun rights act or something. Colorado legalized pot but its neighbor, Utah, has the harshest drug prohibition in the Union. |

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
The problem is that federal law trumps state law, and the federal government passes laws all the time, most of which they have no business passing because the 10th Amendment says that any power not specifically given to the federal government in the Constitution is a state matter. That amendment is being ignored. Marijuana is still illegal everywhere in the U.S. under federal law, although the Constitution does not give the federal government the right to have such a law. Fortunately, the feds haven't raided Colorado or Washington like they did California when medical marijuana was legalized there. I hope it stays that way. |

Could this be the future of 'non-violent protest' in America? |
