Yes, that might be true, but it is still correct to say that it was a weapon of mass destruction. Legally, any bomb, even a grenade is classified as a weapon of mass destruction. But none of those things by themselves are bombs.

However I don't doubt that the government will want to keep a closer eye on people buying all of those things. It can't be helped.

Exactly. That is a fact, and I am in disbelief over the fact that most of the people in my country don't think it's a big deal. I would say most Americans don't even know about it. I didn't realize it was going on in Canada until Hathor started posting about it. North America is hauling ass down a dangerous path. If you look at what happened in Spain, Italy, and Germany in the 1930's, it is really scary how much a lot of the history has already repeated itself on the other side of the Atlantic. Totalitarianism is like drug addiction. Most people don't realize they are there until it's too late to simply turn away from it. I say this now, but I downplayed the Patriot Act at first. I don't any more.

And the thing is every Canadian today hearing about this Bill and reading what it can do, is scaring us now, many of us is saying "Rushing this Bill is not to my liking!" we all don't want to be in jail with no charge! Sounds like death camps to me! not jail.

At least you have a lot of people realizing what is happening. I don't think we do. Hopefully that will change.

Mindgames is a good example of how the Newspeak has really taken hold in America. Not so long ago, a "weapon of mass destruction" was a nuke. Plain and simple. Then around the 1990s/2000s, it became any weapon that could kill thousands of people, including large scale chemical weapons and biological weapons. Now, a WMD is anything that kills at least one person. A knife is a WMD. Your bare hands are WMDs.

Voting won't work. Even IF you could get the votes, which is impossible in a country of 300 million sheeple who have been brainwashed from birth to hate the "other" party -- be it D or R -- you still won't win. Why? The establishment will just tip the game board, rig the election.

It's a conceit to think that the electoral process can work to shrink government at this point in history. There's simply too much vested interest going against that. As someone once said, "elections are too important to be left up to voters". The electoral process is a distraction, nothing more.
