*VIDEO* COPS SHOOT UNARMED MAN IN BED 16 TIMES

A King County man was shot while sleeping in his bed 16 times by local police who invaded the house. Police declared they “felt threatened” by the man who was not the subject of a warrant or investigation. The Department of Corrections and the Kings County Sheriff’s office saw no problem with the random shooting stating it was in compliance with the law. One of the deputies involved in the shootings Detective Aaron Thompson received sustained violations for abuse of authority and poor performance. The man who was shot has no criminal record and has lost his ability to make a living due to his injuries. Apparently the officers were serving an arrest warrant on someone other than the actual victim and they did not ask the owner of the house if there were any weapons present or if a third-party resided there. The detectives involved did not work with other detectives who were present or contact a supervisor before attempting to serve the warrant that ended in the tragic shooting.

Since the incident occurred in February, the Kings County Sheriff’s office has taken steps to provide additional trainings to deputies to avoid shooting more innocent civilians in their beds.

Only the young people in the world can make any lasting changes.
All the old farts, are too accustomed to their wealth, and do not care for anything except themselves.
Small steps though.
It has to be put right slowly, as sudden change will not be tolerated by anyone.
Here is an analogy

Put a frog in a pan of boiling water. What happens ? - It will jump out straight away
Put a frog in a cold pan of cold water, then slowly turn the heat up. What happens ? - It will boil to death

This is whats happening in America.

Your rights are getting nibbled away, bit by bit, not torn away.
You will wake up one day and see what is happening, but you may be too late.

I'll counter bet that there is no legislative reaction to it. I would guess that it's more likely than not to be some random domestic group or individuals, that they are eventually found, and then imprisoned.

If they're receiving tax returns that means they're paying taxes which essentially nullifies the most practical argument against them.

I'm worried that it's all about over now. Too many pieces are falling out too fast. The government could announce at any minute that we have switched to totalitarianism. I think if we did, Democrats and Republicans would still be carrying on their verbal tribal warfare for at least a few weeks before realizing that both parties' politicians were screwing us out of the freedom we once had.

I see this info on ammoland and infowars and a host of blogs that reposted the story...but how come this isn't a covered story by any major news network? I would think a story like this would at least make local headlines in Buffalo, if true.

I have suspicion for this source.

From what I can tell, based purely on the story information, is that only two psychiatrists in the Buffalo area of New York were subpoenaed for their records and it's likely that only pertains to specific patients.

Whoever requested this information would have to demonstrate a lawful and constitutional reason to require them in a court.

It's unlikely this was spurned by the anti-gun politician, Governor Cuomo.

Hardly the Orwellian sweep the story alludes to.

I agree. I hadn't had much time to really dig into it, but I saw that Ammoland was the original source. So I'm not completely sold on it's authenticity, either. Feel free to continue to search for any other sources. I'll do the same when I've got a lil more time to research.

Whether the claims made in that article are true or not, I don't know. But just because something is being ignored by mainstream media doesn't necessarily mean it isn't going on. eg. the Ron Paul media blackout during the campaign, what happened in Anaheim, etc.

I get that, I honestly do.

But I still find a lack of evidence for an Orwellian sweep as proposed by the articles on those sites.

It's filled with more hyperbole and emotional bloat than actual facts.
