I think the point was to explore it, I highly doubt NASA thought little green men were walking on Mars.

I'm not curious as to whether there is life on another planet besides earth, you know why? Because I can't get to that planet.

because the american government and others fire at unidentified-flying-objects. there are pilots testifying they were ordered to open fire on such UFOs, flying and maneuvering in ways that led them to believe they were not from a foreign human country.

then lets also think about, what would happen if the UFO did crash. and alien bodies were found??

what do you think the government would do? apologize? give them a ceremonial burial? or knife them up and lock them in a freezer?

im pretty convinced our government alone is enough reason why no intelligent race from space would want to have first contact. just come, be curious, look at humanity and observe, as we do when we observe the wild, and get on with your alien life and fly away.

Because they can't travel faster than light.

Life almost definitely exists out there, and probably some much more advanced life too, but you can't break the laws of physics anyhow.

The speed of light is relative to the speed you are moving, the faster you go the faster light goes, therefore it is impossible to ACCELERATE passed the speed of light. Get your physics right. That doesn't mean there's some sort of universal speed limit.

Really? I've never heard the military having to open fire on UFO's. I figured after the morons saw the alien ship goes probably faster than the speed of sound almost instantly they'd realize it's not a human. Your argument is retarded, in my opinion.

Considering no aliens have ever crash landed on earth, I see no reason to ever bother thinking about what they'd do.

Once you figure out how an alien can travel from a galaxy a shit load of light years away to ours and not die from starvation or some other way, fill us in.

Ok, take the normal speed of light- 186,000 mi/sec. According to Einstein's theory it's impossible to travel at the speed of light (186,000 mi/sec), or go faster than it (faster than 186,000 mi/sec), because the mass at those speeds would become infinite.

So unless aliens have figured a way to teleport themselves without being destroyed in the process, then waste their time to continue flying around in a spaceship when they're able to teleport, I don't think they're hanging around earth, because they sure aren't flying here.




Also, since aliens seem to be flying at incredible speeds, almost impossible for the eye to keep contact with them, let's say they fly at the speed of sound. Why aren't sonic booms ever reported?

If/when humans venture out to the stars, if we discover a radio-age civilization, would we not communicate with them, even if they were infighting and committing genocide? Yeah it's all a hoax the Mayans did, but when they said 2000 feet they only made it a 100 feet long ship and figured it was 2000 feet long. There will be notes all over the states that people will find and dig out the ship, then it floats in the air and into space and we find out it's actually a 100 foot long ship full of air (air balloon)
