Thread: Are Jews considered a visible minority?

I have a friend who's been trying to get a job in the Canadian government. He's fully bilingual (which is essential), but the problem is they only hire visible minorities. If fact his supervisors tell him the only reason they can't give him a full time job is because he's white, while less deserving minorities are given the cushy government jobs.

I suggested he convert to Judaism, but would that work? Are Jews considered visible minorities?

Surely that in itself is a prejudice against white people? I wouldn't have thought Jewish people are considered a minority either.

Does a jew file lawsuits in the woods?

Maybe, but if you're a white male you're screwed. The funny part is, my friend doesn't even look white. He got some french Canadian heritage, which has a lot of indian mixed in, so he's rather dark and could pass as something or other. I couldn't talk him into pretending to be a minority, but I might be able to talk him into converting, which should be entertaining at the very least. If it works, I may give it a try too.

I already said he won't pretend to be a minority, so paint wont work.
