I couldn't agree with you more.

Psychedelics are tools for "X"-intention. Entheogenesis has whatever meaning YOU give it.
It's purely subjective.

For me it is a healing agent/ego solvent (in which it is therapuitical), Creative enhancement tool, intellectual/philosophical stimulant and general Consciousness exploratory tool.

Yet for many people I know Entheogenesis is no more than a blast. A lowly intelligent form of amusement. ( Not the biased people who've never taken an entheogen though: they just haven't got an idea what they're talking about)


This just goes to show how the content and meaning of Entheogenic experiences is completely decided by who is taking the Entheogen.
Bob Marley once said this about Marijuana(which is an Entheogen): "The Herb will reveal you to yourself"
This is true for all Entheogens really.
