That was satire.

Vaccines are generally recognized as safe, however adverse reactions do occur from time to time. The two big ones that occur are multisystem organ failure due to an undiagnosed egg allergy, and Guillain-Barre Syndrome (the latter of which clears itself up in eighty percent of cases but is still a scary, major pain in the ass and some do end up on ventilators).

These two conditions are rare as fuck (incidence is about one in a million) but when they happen...they happen hard. Which is why I generally recommend that people only recieve vaccinations they absoleutely need. I'm currently reviewing whether or not I should obtain an H1N1 vaccination being that the H1N1 virus kills a good deal of young adults who get it, however I do not plan on recieving a vaccination for the seasonal flu now or until seniority which is when seasonal flu becomes commonly lethal.

two doctors tried to lump a medication on me, which I refused to take both times for a million and one personal reasons. both doctors expressed I would never get better unless I took the medication

not only did I get better, a few months later a report came out showing how the same medication they were trying to force me to take actually increased the chances of stomach cancer because it completely ruins the lining of your stomach

the only good western medicine, is acute medicine. if it's not an emergency, go eastern medicine instead. the h1n1 looks like a regular flu to me. drink ginger tea and stay healthy instead.

I don't know.....vaccines that LET DOWN THE IMMUNE SYSTEM..to build antibodies..that just makes no sense.

Your immune system already protects you from viruses and shit. and vaccines just attack it.

Did you even care to study how vaccines work? They don't ATTACK the immune system, oh wise one. They introduce broken and defunct fragments of viruses, which your immune system recognizes and builds up appropriate antibodies in defense to.

This is all true, except for the H1N1 virus killing a good deal of young adults who get it thing. Where is the proof of this?
Afaik only old people and babies would POSSIBLY die from it. I haven't heard of any young adults dying from swine flu, or any flu, if they weren't already sick anyway.
I didn't think people would even consider getting it now. The flu's basically moved on by this point now anyway hasn't it?

Oh eyah and there's always gonna be some doctor who admits something does something. I this case hardwired, it's a couple doctors admitting Thimerosal causes autism. You'll find a few people all the time who do this. Take that NASA astronaut a while ago, forgot who it was, for instance, he admitted they saw aliens in their space missions. It doesn't mean shit.

I've heard this too, from reliable sources.

Mexico, I think, is where the first reports of young, healthy people dying came from. HOWEVER, I think a lot of these people had pre-existing conditions, possibly heart problems or asthma...and as long as you take care of the problem properly, by keeping your fluids up and seeking medical attention if things take a turn for the worst, you should make it through just fine...

Previously healthy adults who took all these precautions still died while in the hospital under the best of care, normally the result of a runaway immune response supercharged by a positive feedback loop. People aged 16-40 are in a "high risk" category because of these statistics. My decision on whether or not to get the H1N1 vaccine hinges on how bad it's still spreading; if it were pandemic around here, I'd definitely get one. But as I said, people should only get vaccines they need, and I'm not entirely sure if the virus is even around here anymore.

Hm, I only heard that they hypothesized this, that the immune system of healthy people would overreact, I didn't think it actually happened. Oh well, I smoke anyway so that'd save me since it weakens your immune system lol

Yeah, it probably makes them feel as heroes who continue to stand. You know, there has to be something to cover the guilt of not doing beans for poor or sick people.
