Zombie Dreams WTF?!?!

So I have never in my life had zombie dreams at all! And now I have had about 10 of them in the past year. The first time I had one I was like cool a zombie dream wtf brought that on. Then the second one I was like ok I was thinking about I am legend before bed, but them kept coming. Not really scary nightmarish dreams like resident evil type, but enough to pi.. me off in and out of the dream. The question: How can I stop having zombie dreams? I do not think they are cool! LOL They just make me mad in and out of the dream. I haven't become lucid in any of them yet, but it is quickly becoming another dream sign of mine I do not want. PLEASE HELP! DG

What do zombies signify/represent/mean to you? If it's a reoccurring theme then it might be your subconscious tying to tell you something. Are there any other themes or DCs that are common in these dreams and are the zombies doing anything in particular?

I do not even think about them on a daily basis or at all, maybe I will ponder this question. The first few dreams I had I was trying to save a little girl. One of the ones I had today was more of a cometary type dream where a male DC was telling me about groups of people taking territories and who to avoid at all costs. The last one was when the out break was just happening and instead of the group of military men containing a group of people they killed them all then called in an air strike to cover the bodies. The first few zombie dreams were the only ones that had any real fighting in them. there is only one logical conclusion here: YOU ARE GOING TO BECOME A ZOMBIE stay away from me. I love zombie dreams! I remember a dream a while back where we were Jedi fighting a zombie horde! It was awesome! I had one a few nights ago that was really strange, but cool. It was something like you had to let a zombie eat your heart in order to keep fighting.

I had a really realistic dream that I was killing zombies with my father on some roof top with axes. very strange indeed But I noticed that dream content is usually related to something you've done the day before sleeping, atleast for me. So i guess no more zombie movies?

I used to have Zombie dreams quite a lot once they were not scary but were a nuisance they only turned up during some of my lucid dreams and kept attacking me or grabbing me as I tried to fly from them. I have not had them for ages now since I read a post on this board somewhere that said something like if some dc keeps attacking or pestering you that you should grab hold of them and demand from them what part of you they represent, I did this and and It seemed to confuse my attacker and since then I have not been bothered by Zombies or anything else.

I tend to have zombie dreams a fair bit, but in mine they are highly aggressive, very feral and VERY scary lol.

What I suggest is... Just have fun ! I highly agree with MadMonkey. . . I mean, seriously, who wouldn't like a whole dream fighting off zombies Ask other DC's to join you if not Shared Dreaming. Build weapons, create fortresses or whatnot. To me, dreams with fighting bad guys/monsters/zombies are some of the best kinds of dreams, especially lucid ones Turn that anger towards them and fight!

I have had one or two zombie dreams they were the same night and were like two parts of the same dream, in the first part I was with my brother and we left to walk around and then the zombies come, I tried to go find my mother and father but could not find them, then I lost my brother, I found someones house who was a police officer, I asked if I could stay and he said no because he could only keep his family safe, I stayed anyway...then I remeber a group of bikers showing up because I mad their leader mad, I said sorry and then we became friends! I woke up and went back to sleep and then I was in a class room with the family from before and one of my old teachers, we got on a bus and were going to drive to the city but the road was blocked off, the last thing I remember was all the people with me turned into zombies and going after me, I would shoot them but it would not do anything so when they got to me I shot myself.

The only way to stop having zombie dreams is to stop seeing zombies in real life. Nope I do not watch zombie movies or play any zombie games. I had another zombie dream this morning. This time they were slow and a little dumb, but they could talk and they were looking for three more diamonds to complete some type of weapon. While the good guys were told there is a kind of cure if you made a potion. I was bit in this one, but it only made my mad because I knew I was going to have to kill my self after I was done defending the people making the potion. At the end of the dream I remember a mayor type person say from now on there will be specialty built concrete bunkers to put the dead in so this will not happen again. I flipping hate zombies! DG

Could be that you are thinking about your dreams. You think about your dreams, which contained zombies, which causes more dreams about zombies.
