Could have been because you didn't get as much sleep when you was in uni, or was always drinking alcohol while in uni, not sure about China, but here uni students tend to drink lots of alcohol, which could of effected your dreams.

You did dream, you dream 3-6 different dreams every night, would be silly to think you didn't dream for 2 years. You just didn't pay attention to them, you could have even remembered it in the morning, didn't right it down, and by midday you've forgotten the whole thing.

People dream every night, unless they have sleeping problems. People that do not remember their dreams either do not practice enough, or they have a sleep issue that disrupts rem sleep.

It should be easy to remember dreams, becuase before you get up every morning you go through a long rem phase. Your quality of sleep has most likely improved, for on nights when I remember my dreams I feel much more rested.

The mere stress of school, and the hustle-bustle of getting ready in the morning, could've shattered your recall.

Glad your dreams are back, though.

So you're getting panicky because you're having dreams?

That sort of happened to me too, because my stress level was so high I probably ended up in escapism mode that's why I get good at recalling my dreams, and the recurrent theme makes them ever more obvious. Previously when I was younger my nights were peaceful. But as what they had mentioned, we do have dreams, it's only a matter of recalling them or not.
