Weird Dream inside of a dream

Hello all I just wanted to share a strange dream that i had last night. It started off like this i was in bed and that new dream mask thats coming out soon remee i had one and i put it on and layed down and started to go to sleep when i closed my eyes the words "remee" appeared in my eyes and i heard a vibrations and i went into sleep paralysis then after that it became a dream within a dream. In the dream within a dream I woke up and did 3 different reality checks I did one where i check to see if the sleep mask was on my face i pinched my nose to see if i could breathe through it and i kept looking at a clock and the time kept showing something strange or different and then in the dream within a dream my dream self said "Hey im dreaming" and that dream went lucid but I myself was not lucid I had no control over anything . So basically my dream self had a lucid dream i guess I found it strange because ive never had a lucid dream. Anyone else ever had a similar experience like this?

Sounds like a very strange dream, but interesting nonetheless. As long as you are aware that you are in a dream, you are lucid. You won't always have full control over what happens in your dreams. After mastering becoming lucid in a dream, you can practice tuning up your dream control a bit more ^.^

Yes it was def a strange to me. I don't think i would call it lucid because I myself didnt realize it was dreaming yet myself inside the dream said he was dreaming it was really strange the dream stuck in my head all day

Getting lucid is basically just realizing you're dreaming. If you did, then you're lucid!

Dream within dream sounds cool I know, I've experienced it myself too. But if you were to think about it carefully, it's actually just the transition from a dream to the next, like our usual dreams, except there's a link between them.
