It's nothing to worry about, but your brain was continuing the dream as you woke up. Was the dream vivid or foggy or somewhere in between? |

So I had a weird dream (don't remember). So when I woke up, I was under my sheet with my eyes closed, so then suddenly I just said something, I think it was something replying to what someone said to me in the dream... I didn't even say the thing on purpose, it just came out of my mouth.. Anyone know how to explain this? Because I know I certainly can't.. |

Current projects:
-Acquire the Aurora
-Test galatamine, huperzine and choline
-Find smartwatch app for RC reminders at certain intervals
-Ressurect my dream log here, and become more active
this happens to me all the time, however it isn't speech. I always have dreams with a lot of action. most of the time im punching and kicking people and then I suddenly wake up and smash my fists against the wall. nothing to worry about, its completely normal. |

Happened to me once, once you realize what you did it's rather awkward to anyone that heard xD Nothing to worry about as they've said though. |

- I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday. [Stolen from I can't remember where]
Earlier tonight I woke up and sat up and moved out of the way immediately to avoid being squished by a helicopter that had been about to land where I had been in my dream. So if I can do that, why shouldn't you continue a conversation. |

There's a sort of overlap period when you first wake up - for a few seconds it's like you're awake but still seeing/hearing the dream overlaid with reality. It's pretty cool really . |

That is why you go into SP, sleep paralysis, so you don't act out your dreams. |

You were still dreaming when you said it. This is where knowing when your awake versus when you're still dreaming comes in handy. Like someone said, theres a place in between sleeping and consciousness where you're still dreaming - its in the shift, the transition area between sleep and waking. Its a good idea to know some identifiers to know whether your still dreaming when you're in this point. And you gave a very good example of why its important. In your case, all you were doing was, in essence, sleep talking. Even though you were waking up. Your brain was still in dream mode. |
