I really have no idea if sleeping during day time hours actually has a significant effect on dream vividness and dream recall. However, I do have experience with this, and, it would seem as though it does. Maybe only because we think it could produce a better, more "recall-able" dream if we are to sleep during the day. In my experiences, I almost always have a vivid recollection of a dream upon awakening from a mid-day nap. Dunno why, could be because are brains are not ready, nor need an NREM sleep cycle, because the body is not fatigued and does not need repair. Thus, putting is into only REM Cycles, and giving us some very vivid dreams. Hope this helps a little! Happy dreaming. |
