      drifting off into conciousness

this was a weird experience i had to today. I'd lied down on my bed after some mental exhaustion brought fourth by studying. i closed my eyes and within 10 minutes I began to feel vibrations and a humming in my ears. still half awake i was like "wow wtf is going on i must be drifting off into a dream" this realization kinda made me wake up, but i wanted to try and see if i could return to that state. i kept my eyes closed and without moving i focused on what i perceived to be the black of my eye lids, I then felt as if i was being pulled into that blackness. this pulling sensation was accompanied by the various vibrations i'd experienced early, which being the pussy i am...frightened me, thus putting a definitive end to this bizarre experience.

nonetheless i found this experience to be quite interesting and wondered if that is what a WBTB feels like? any thoughts or comments?

If you put energy into worrying about things that you can't control then you won't have energy for things that you can

This is what WILD normally feels like.

WBTB is a technique used in which you wake up for a bit (5-60 minutes), then go back to bed. It helps with awareness.

WILD is where you drift off to sleep, but are still partially conscious. The things you've experienced are a form of hypnagogia experienced whilst performing the WILD. They are not dangerous - you will not be harmed during it, even if it feels a bit uncomfortable the first few times. the best part is, once it passes, you'll be dreaming.
