      Dreaming your greatest fear

I want to know your dream stories about when in a dream you encountered your greatest fear, this can include sleep paralysis experiences. By the way, back story. when I was little I always had night terrors and my mother would wake up and see me sleep walking almost one time going outside and when she would talk to me, apparently I would respond to her and I would have my eyes open but I would not recall this the next day.

I'll start, I had 2 sleep paralysis experiences and 1 dream where I encountered my greatest fear in a sense. ok My greatest fear is simple, I am afraid of a monster or demon stealing my soul, I would rather have them tear up my body and rip me to pieces just not eat or take my soul.

The Dream, This dream happened a long time ago when I was around 13-15 years old and I had a dream that I was back living at a previous residence and I walked back to what was my bedroom I opened the door and walked it and it was pitch black, the only light was from a red clock and I walked in to about the middle of the room when the door slammed shut behind me and I felt this presence in front of me, it didn't say anything and I couldn't see it because the room was so dark but I knew it was a demon and I could feel like it was sucking the life force out of me, every step became harder and harder and I could not yell out and I just started feeling really tired and more tired and every step required greater energy as I tried to walk back to the door, I managed to open it after what seem like forever and what required a lot of energy and I basically crawled out and the door shut behind me and I woke up. For about a year after that everytime I was in my bedroom and it was dark I could just feel the life starting to get sucked out of me again and I had to sleep with the tv on.

      The two sleep paralysis experiences:
I woke up sometime in the middle of the night and I just looked toward the closet door and I saw this large pitch black figure that had a humanlike head and the only skin was on it's head the rest was just a dark essence I guess you could call it and it's head was originally at its side but started moving through its chest up to where its head should of been and then it started opening its mouth very slowly and it had very sharp jagged teeth and I couldn't move, scream or anything and then it rushed me, all I could do was shut my eyes. Since then, again I cannot sleep without a light on in the room.

2nd SP experience: this time, thankfully, when I woke up I didn't open my eyes because I knew I couldn't move and I knew if I opened my eyes I would see the monster because I could hear him and feel him standing next to my bed, I tried to pretend I was still sleeping because the only thing I could get out was a weird snore I tried to scream and scream but nothing would come out and I heard it speak, it said my name in a kind of taunting way and it laughed at me. I just focused everything on trying to scream and get something out (I still lived with my mother at this time) so I focused on yelling "Mom" and I finally was able to say it, not very loud but I did it and I heard a response and about 20 seconds after that I could move and get up.

Aww. Those do sound scary. I use to have dreams like that until I got over my fear of spirits attacking me though. I can't really remember a scary non lucid dream though. I think its cause they may have started non lucid and than I became lucid. Hmmmm.....Or maybe they weren't that scary and I just forgot about them.Ah well. If I forgot about them thats what I would probably want anyways.

Nope I can't remember much and looking over my journal they weren't that scary. ^^" But there was a scary dream where I had a chain of false awakenings. It eventually led up to me defeating the scary girl in my dream though.
