Thread: Animated dreams? Or Video game type dreams?

Years ago I had many Minecraft themed dreams though the dreamworld's environment was always more realistic and in recent years I've had dreams based on other voxel games. I have had World of Warcraft dreams for a long time, even when I haven't played the game at all for months, but years ago at first, these dreams would have fit better into the game world logic than they do now, now they're looser and tell their own stories much more.

I've had some other dreams where there were segments that were either like videos or animations, but they have been few. I don't remember ever dreaming of any cartoons I've watched, but that doesn't mean I haven't had any, just none I can recall anymore.

My overall "control" over all types of dreams has increased over the years, despite the fact that I almost only have non-lucid dreams. Perhaps because I have increasingly come to accept that I have little control over most things in waking life? My dad is the same in this regard though.

Yep! It was insane. I prefer social interaction now (bonus: it's healthier).

Yeah, it's almost like the game world has real-life graphics, even if it is just a Super Nintendo game. At least, that's my experience.

I did remember one cartoon dream, from when I was a child (I did have a dream journal from back then). It had Mickey Mouse, Goofie, etc., at the beach. Very realistic, like real life with cartoon characters embedded into it. A pleasant memory.
