      My Lucid Dreaming Project

      Hello friends and like minds. I want to write a movie script based on LD, and for me to be able to do that, I have to be an advanced Lucid dreamer.

      So the purpose of this thread is to help me be committed and stay committed to lucid dreaming, with your contribution.

      My daily Routines
      1.Reality Checke for at least 3x
      2.Prepare for sleep mindfully
      3.Medition before bed and after
      4.Record my dreams and then repeat this for 8 weeks.

      If you are serious, I would recommend checking out Daniel Love's Youtube channel. He's always talking about how there aren't good representations of lucid dreams in movies. If you do make a movie, it would be awesome if it was accurate to how lucid dreaming actually is (IE it takes work/time, not just wish fulfilment, dream control isn't absolute etc).

      He's a bit divisive in the lucid dreaming community but I like him. He is a rare rational voice in an ocean of people acting like lucid dreaming is magic or something. He has a lot of content that repeats, and he can come across as condescending or hyper-critical but I think that is more out of love for the subject than anything else.

      Sometimes to record dreams, I just write a few sentences that sum up most of the dream, and I read them later and can remember everything and make a more detailed version later.

      RC seems to be a life style now and that is my goal with other lucid dreaming actions.
      I fell asleep last night while chatting with a customer care representative, though that's not the first time. I fall asleep, most of the time without getting prepared, while doing something. That apart. The consciousness to prepare for sleep and meditate was there, but I was too tired and sleepy to get myself to do it. I simply lied down, picked up my phone to check my football predictions. All played out except one that was postponed, but my ticket has not settled that why I had contact a customer care and then I fell asleep...

      I am including WBTB because i think it should be, and it has been on my alarm clock since 2024 Winter Competition.
      Today was a good day. i remembered a dream fragment while a was meditating this morning.

      i have a complete list today and i think i cant start counting. According to ChatGPT, it takes the average of 66 days to form a habit.

      i failed today because i didn't do all the routine i was surposed to do. i fell asleep while doing something as usual. so i will say i am still on 1 out of 66 days.

      Today was i total mess. I went to valentines party last night and drink alcohol and it messed me up. i know i had a dream but i cant remember it so i have nothing to record.

      I failed again. Last night, i came back from work being so tired and hungry. i went out to look for food, i ate, relaxed for sometime and returned home only to lie down and slept off. WBTB alarm woke me up and i snoozed it and kept on snoozing it till 6:15 am. i founded it so difficult to get out of the bed and prepare for work.

      Hello Like-minds; i intentionally didn't post anything yesterday because i failed, and i am tired of failing. so from now henceforth i will only post when i have completed my Daily Routine. if i don't post anything it means i have failed. and my target is correct 66 daily routine and i have only just gotten 1 in 12 days. this does not show any atom of seriousness. but i will keep trying. and then again, i have to remind myself that there is no try.       The difficulty of building a new habit is disgusting. I am adjusting my daily Routine by removing WBTB and my reason is this; i found out that when am too awake, i found it difficult falling back to sleep. and when i am too tired and sleepy, i found it very difficult to WBTB. i am replacing it with 5 minutes meditation during the day.
