Smile appearances of people you know, in dreams

hello, i'm new and this is my first post!

anyway, my question for all of you is this:

Do people in your dreams always look exactly as they do in real life? and what about people you only 'know of', do they look the same in our dreams as they do in real life, or do you think we sort of reconstruct their appearance starting with what we remember?

For me, encountering people I know in a dream is one of the more reliable dream signs to initiate a reality check. I don't know if it's their appearance necessarily, but there's always something off about them that tells me, "This is not that person."
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Um...I think that they mostly look the same, but not necessarily, for me at least. Usually, I only see them back-handedly, so I just get the basic jist of their appearance, usually. But it most often looks like them. I can have a DC I know for real in a dream, and talk with them, and not even LOOK at them in the dream .

There is this specific dream that I JUST had yesturday morning about some random guy I know in school, and in the dream he had a good amount of zits, but IRL, he doesn't really have any.

It depends with me. If they are an important part in my dream, then yes they look exactly like the person does in real life. It makes me more comfortable with them.

If they are more of a background character there is always a subtle difference (usually in the face.) Sometimes it's hard for me to tell the difference, though. Since it varies from an added freckle if the real person doesn't have many freckles on their face, to a slightly slimmer or rounder face.

They tend to look like the person in real life. But I did see my uncle once with longer hair, sharpening a stick once. So idk.

Also, I totally almost smashed your avatar >.>

My mom had button eyes in a dream once. I considered that a pretty reliable indicator that I was dreaming.

      I still couldn't wake up.

That said, everyone's appearances in my dreams are pretty fuzzy.

99% of the time, yes. The other 1%, usually it's only a slight defect in their appearance.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

When I meet people in dreams, they are either blurred or then it's just there presence I can feel.

Usually in my dreams they appear the same as they do in real life.

Odd. Now that I think about it, I never quite pay much attention to their faces to begin with during a dream. Oh well, living and learning.

I do recall that on my most blurry and senseless dreams, they are merely physical shapes without a clear, visible face. Human shapes, for the most part, but for some reason my dream self knows which person I know said shapes are supposed to represent, usually by their voice.

They're the same everytime I they appear, I don't see why they should change, since you see them almost every day.

Everyone I recognize in my dreams look and behave much like if not exactly 100% like the real people those DC's represent, with the exception of one time where my girlfriend took on the form of my older sister. I went lucid and tried to change her to look like my girlfriend was supposed to, but I woke up before I got to do it.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
