Thread: Share your dream from last night in one sentence

lost in a pitch black movie theatre with no movie playing, running around flailing at the air trying to hit pranksters in the dark.

Sitting in a Big office room at a table with executives in suits. The Head of the Board was some shadow creature with a raspy english accent . Yea, it was unsettling.

Saw myself playing a video game (in third person)

+ (1.5-2hrs, one of my earlier ever recorded) in a shootout/competition, I'm trying to move from cover to cover without being seen/shot by the guy in the distance on top of a building, a woman opponent enters my area, her back's to me, I think I may avoid detection, she turns and sees me and goes for her weapon, I quickly approach her and disarm her (I take her purse?), she wants her purse back

+ in a gym equipment store(?), there are modular monkey-bar sets against the wall, I see a guy using a tall one to stretch, he is moving faster than possible in life and is distorted and does freaky looking stretches

+ moving through a 3-dimensional industrial area full of pipes and liquids like a chemical engineering plant

+ I'm standing to the side of an exercise class, my friend MR comes out visibly upset/crying, I yell at the teacher about this, my friend takes off driving in a flying car with me as passenger, we're passed on the right by a hijacked nuclear ICBM, I want to get the hell out of here because I think my friend's suicidal so I don't want to draw his attention to the bomb because I think he'll just crash into it to set it off, I get off and hit fairly hard on the ground and run the other way and take cover and the bomb goes off, I think taking cover doesn't matter the radiation will get us soon, anyway

Protecting someone from police, i actually made them threaten me so i can give in info, in the end i did, but was too late already to catch him.

Tried to stop terrorists from hacking my computer, then got told the worst limerick everrr by my housemate for Task of the Month.

Three slightly different but all too similar versions of the same dream I'm constantly having... heading to some event, but I get so distracted by getting ready/packing that I wake up before I have a chance to get wherever I'm going.

1. Had a lucid in which a friend of mine realized she was dreaming. Poor control tho.
2. My subconcious likes to betray me making me dream with people I don't want.

Agent Coulson and I were on the run from Hydra agents and tried to take cover in a store's baby department.

1. A lot of religious people screaming. I killed them all.
2. I set my school on fire. With everybody inside. Soooo beautiful dream.

I took LSD in the street, and while walking towards my house my reality began to break, showing fractals, pulsating colors and lights. Cool dream.

+ cute girls are sitting outside, tons of people are all around like a festival, I think some are twins, one of them is sitting/squatting with her butt directly on the ground/mud I think that's odd, I see she's wearing a thick leather "bikini bottom" and that's shielding her from the dirt/mud, I see her exposed back and water is streaming down it, it must be from rain

+ playing racquetball with several friends, I can't remember how many points everyone has, the court is normal (first time, normally strange things are in the court), I play a point, winning it, then I serve once winning it, and serve again but miss the ball, I have 20 points, which is bad, because you lose when you get to 21 (?!).

+ standing at a store counter in a foreign country, they're processing something for me, the manager says there's a problem with my folder, it's not stamped, I think this is outrageous I've been here for (I do some mental math) 4.5 years, the girl clerk hands me a large wad of cash as change, I start counting it, she shakes her head that that's a bad idea (thieves could see), there's a guy standing right up against me with his arms around me with both hands digging in to my bag, I try to pull away and shout for help repeatedly.

+ I'm trying to find my way back to the above counter, I replay this several times, I get to the place where I know it used to be but it's not there, I'm very disoriented/confused by this, I ask a woman on a tall stand/kiosk sheepishly for the day, the month, and the year, I"m embarrassed to ask this because it shows I'm out of it, and she tells me but chuckles a bit, I bring out my phone to look at the date, and my old beloved deceased dog appears at my feet, but he's wrong, he's the size of a squirrel and has the face of a pig, I get lucid and am astonished at the clarity and visual detail, it's so lifelike, I fade in and out of lucidity then solidify, the woman calls to her assistant girl in another room, I go to her and tell her she must come see my weird pig-faced dog, then I wake up

+ ...and fall right back into another dream, non-lucid: I'm flying DO by a huge building, I see inside, there are lots of people celebrating, I think that's a great place to get lucid and walk around, I'm flying over huge indoor buildings filled with immigrant workers and their beds laid out in huge open rooms, I see all the little people below lying on beds and walking around, a big group of them is seated for a meal

+ I'm with my wife inside an english-speaking clinic in a foreign country, there are 2 sick men there, my wife goes to sit on the bed of one of the sick guys she wants the doctor to look at her leg, I think it's a bad idea to sit on a sick guy's bed, the doctor comes in and talks to one of the guys that <something> should lessen his symptoms, I see a ferret sleeping on a tray table next to where my wife is sitting, I go to point it out to her but I see it's actually a medical instrument of some sort covered by ants, a guy says somebody must have left out some food.

- Tried to change a baby's diaper, even though I wasn't sure what I was doing

- Did a skin care demo for a large audience at a former employer which somehow involved me washing my face as everyone watched.

I forgot to post this the day after, but have to now that I remembered it:

A fantasy highschool, a crush on a teacher, sneaking pot into gym class, and ending with an unusually exhuberant schoolwide sing-and-dance-along rendition of "I'll Make Love To You" by Boys II Men.

(In short, the funnest dream I've had in a long time.)

+ walk/drive by friend MR's house, he's standing outside his frontdoor with his family talking about something, later I'm talking with him about something

+ in/around a hut, building a fire inside high by the ceiling, it's built too hot at the thatched roof catches fire, and I'm putting it out with buckets of water (or thinking about putting it out)

+ we're thinking about building a new structure inside the existing hut near the door to the outside

+ wading in a lake standing near the shore, I'm looking down into the water I imagine seeing fish, then I turn to the light and see fish, they're nibbling my toes, there are rainbow trout (vague), catfish (see clearly including whiskers), I call so my son saying this, then I see a baby manta ray about 1 foot in diameter, then I see a baby white wolf swimming through the water.

I don't know if I had a WILD or if I dreamed I had a WILD, anyways, my body started shaking and vibrating and I stayed calm while the dream was forming. I was thinking of that magic place I want to visit, but instead some stairs appeared. I wanted to do something, but it was quite unstable.

In the first dream I got angry in a conference room and threw my bag with camera and important paperwork out of a window.
The following dream had me seriously pondering having had a shared dream - even posting about it on here, because upon telling people, that I would have dreamt of throwing my bag out of a window, a friend of mine goes - yes - I dreamt that as well - how stupid of you - and your camera was in it!

Phew - good I don't have to find a rational explanation for that affair after all!

I was driving at night and my headlights would cut out every time I slowed down.

+ I want to reconnect with highschool buddies, CB and DD are with me, I suggest we should re-start our "special birthday party" celebrations where there are just a few of us, CB agrees and for starters he wants me to reveal the secrets for one of the companies I worked for

+ In DD's apartment, he's coming home, I'm running from room to room trying to avoid detection.

• My coworker was so fed up about something that he was going around with a cardboard box over his head.

• Bizarre false awakening where a man and woman appeared at my bedside and proceeded to question me about my "unprofessional" pajamas.

Lots of scenes:

+ transformers [borg sized] apocalypse, I'm swinging on a vine around one and think why can't I take it down with a lightsaber (I think I have a real LS in my hand! finally! Then I drop it), climb to the top, and there's a yellow circular call of "help" web sign meant for spiderman

+ I'm with my wife in the neighborhood of my "professional lady friend" [of whom I'm a frequent client] (fake memory )] the PLF appears, I'm concerned about getting caught, my PLF plays it cool and says she's a massage therapist, I think I've dodged a bullet, my wife asks me if I want to go for Thai food

+ signing up for a pool tournament (I think it's a medical form I'm filling out at first), I talk with the guy behind the counter about which group I should enter based on my ability, I've missed the first round already

+ walking through a very cluttered fruits/veggy section of a market, trying to get into the restroom, I pee into a sock puppet and stuff it into the garbage.

+ picking up my camping backpack and putting it into the closet just in time for my wife to come in, we have a short heated exchange, I'm then talking with 3-4 people one of whom is a lady who looks like a beautiful albino elf (white hair, white skin, bright [blue?])

+ I'm in an upscale bar/restaurant talking to an attractive 30-something woman who's asking me what she did wrong (she was interested in my friend), I'm standing right up against her face to face and think about dreaming! [either I'm dreaming, or she's dreaming] (MISSED IT! AAAAAArgh!)

+ In some audience area, 3 people have brought coolers full of flowers and are getting ready to sell them to the audience, the flowers are very colorful, then I realize my waist bag is gone, I'm looking for it, I've been robbed, everything is gone (backpack, laptop, ipad, etc.), I replay this since I realize I had been asleep(?), then I *see* the guy who grabbed my stuff grab it in front of my face, I race after him up the stairs, he's too fast and gets away

I wrote a poem for a coworker, and for extra effect, I turned the piece of paper that the poem was typed on into a paper airplane and threw it at her.

I think I accidentally started to WILD. I went to sleep after waking up. And I could feel myself transition into a dream of my choosing. Suddenly I'm in front of a house, walking toward it, and I knew I was dreaming, suddenly I woke up when I realized what was happening.

Kind of cool. It was like I was sleepy enough that I started imagining something and it became a dream. Like right from being awake directly into the dream. Ugh then back awake.

A magician said that he would tell how many letters there was in my name and another guys name, by stacking cookies that would sybolise the right number of letters.. Well, I think he failed in the end. But all I was thinking about, was to eat those cookies any way..
