Thread: Share your dream from last night in one sentence

Gotta record during the night, running through the list of accumulated dreams every waking works OK but so much detail is lost. Several on the list forgotten entirely (it's late afternoon now).

+ barbecuing, the coals are round black discs with grey ash around the perimeter

+ something about racquetball

+ getting down into a rowboat with someone

+ Larry David asks me to go golfing with him, I'm suspicious since I'm not a good golfer, a tiny toy car falls to the ground I pick it up, look at it closely, and think how in the old days kids would be so happy to have such a toy and to play with it for hours

+ I'm in a smart-girl's sorority event standing at a table, the adult female counselor stands up next to me and says something, someone calls out to everyone "what are you thinking!?", I raise my hand and declare "I was thinking something to myself!" I think this is a really clever/funny comment but the room is silent in response, I think "oops...", we unroll some scrolls and read them.

+ Me and my friend are hastily trying to prepare a weapon against the coming evil/powerful guy, we do not make it in time, I implore the evil guy just to kill me and my friend, not the whole group, I think later why should I die for this evil guy I think my friend and I should double-cross and ambush him.

I pulled a large white egg sac with marble-sized red eggs out of my... insides.

Trying to convince people I wasn't involved with a terrorist group in a church. (while I was in the church)

I was with 4 other people, sitting on stools in a semicircle, each with a wine barrel in front of us - open at the top, and we looked inside, and were very disappointed, because none of us had enough lucidity in their barrel to go dreaming with it! Mine had just a puddle of murky fluid 1 cm deep..rolleyes.gif

Kind of a crazy night all around.

• After construction crew removed moldy plaster and dead rats (ew) from my closet, I treated them to pizza as we sat around my bedroom.

• Game of Thrones-ish thing where I was in a heavily fortified castle watching a battle from my window, and I was disappointed that the ending of the series was Lucius Malfoy fighting Voldemort.

* I was working in the produce department of a store and eating radishes while watching a newly retired employee give a speech.

I was watching myself play golf from a third person perspective with a full HUD, not much unlike the HUD from 'Tiger Woods 09' on PS2, while I controlled the me watching me (golfer) with a controller. (It was very convoluted)

A strange dream about fighting someone to gain immortality and getting arrested for something crazy.

Trippiest night ever. I was late for my graduation, so I started to run so I could arrive as soon as possible. When I arrived I talked to a friend and woke up into another dream. I was in my bed so I got up and dressed up. Smoked a cigarette and found out my parents were there. I was in shock because I realized that five minutes ago I was in my graduation, and I focused on what did I do last night, but I couldn't remember drinking any alcohol. I called a friend and she started to laugh when I asked if I had drank anything. I woke up once again into another dream. I was with my mom and told this dream-chain. She told me that she had bought me a skydiving ticket. Also I found my father on a jet skiing. I woke up into reality. It all was so damn real.

I tried to be polite but constructive as I critiqued a terrible film my old lecturer had made.

Hunting for these red berries in a post-apocolyptic world with a panda holding a quarterstaff while avoiding people that I once knew who had become cannibals.

Long night full of dreams, experienced vividly, memory a bit fleeting since no recording until morning

+ I FLEW TO SPACE! (as in just me, flying) Saw the earth descending and shrinking beneath me, cities lit in the night-time regions, I was scared to leave the area of the earth for fear of never finding my way back again.

+ In the home of my college friends, do lots of stuff there, they have young children, I revisit them later in the night in another dream, they were playing music featuring the instrument that I play, I say "you always play such great <instrument> music," I hear the instrument very clearly, like it's playing a long solo or a concerto.

+ A buffet with very elegant and nicely sized sushi, I think these are good sized and a real meal (I eat one?)

+ I'm designing some animations in a video game, the screen is live before us floating in the air, I'm trying to show my client (a woman) my work to get her to review it and approve it but she just won't listen to me, I see these animations for a long time, I'm comparing my animations to the build-in animations and how they cover the avatars of the people displayed on the bottom of the screen, the animation is called "over the rainbow."

+ I'm gathering up a board game to take with me to play later and realize I've forgotten the dice, I see them on the ground, starting with the 20-sided die, they're probably required to play the game, some guys say yes they're required, I see more and more strangely shaped dice, 8-sided, 4-sided, 5-sided, then really bizarre irregular shapes.

+ I'm trying to close and secure the sliding door of a rented room, trying to get the panels of the door to connect to one another and to the door frame, it's really flimsy, I think I just can't leave this room with the door open, I think I've left the keys in the room, I debate hopping over the door panels to go get them, I eventually do.

+ I'm flying around a neighbourhood looking at cars driving and thinking about where to park.

+ I'm traversing an unusual freeway exit with my wife, trying to choose the right path through to our destination, we're mostly DO and flying. The earth/ground is unuusally shaped, like rounded tall hourglass columns with steep sides, we're standing on top of one and I think I'll fall down one of these columns if I try to walk down

+ I'm DO flying around large indoor spaces, like concrete parking garages, with my parents, looking for the elevator, I know this area is inside a national scientific laboratory, I see portions of large scientific machines poking through the walls and floor of the garage, I see people with shopping carts near cars?

• I'm visiting another location where the walls are all all sharp angles instead of straight lines and I can't find a thing.

• My coworker and I are trying to demonstrate our agility by throwing a ball back and forth, hoping to impress the judges, but she keeps dropping the ball.

I found the only other real person in a virtual world, but they got taken away by police due to segregation laws between AI and real people.

You all have some pretty wild dreams (don't we all?)


I had a dream last night where I was hanging out with some friends and one of them gives me a bump of cocaine to sniff, and we watched a leaked copy of 22 jump street while this guy massages me intimately from behind, then soon after a black car arrives and tried to abduct me so I ran away into a warehouse and hid amongst some dresses, found a pink dress that I wanted and got caught by a mean evil woman who said We got her!!! go get her! we knew she was always a girl go get her!

Wild night.

More dream fragments of a post-apocolyptic world, I was running and hiding in underground tunnels, not sure what from, though I knew that it wasn't friendly.

nap dreams, nothing from the night (late to bed and early rising):

+ I found a box with a tube in it that if you moved the tube up and down it made a rubbing sound against the box that sounded like Chewbacca's "roar," I played with it for a while to make the perfect Chewbacca sound.

+ felt a big "crunch" under my foot and looked down to see oozy snail guts on the ground

+ in a room with a girl and a bed, hoping for some action, nothing happened.

+ in a gym at a pull down weight machine, I push down on the bars, and the weights come back to rest on their own, lifting me up in the air, I think this is great fun and do this several times then people are watching so I settle down to doing a few proper pull-downs, and I start to wonder about how much weight is there and how it could lift me up.

+ walking across a bridge near the rail, a large train of very large white storage devices snakes out onto the bridge roadway, I think it had been in storage on the side of the bridge, it's coming close, it may squish us, I say "it's moving like a worm" and a hobo walking near me agrees

+ I try to get to the other side of the bridge so I can go to the gym, but I realize I have no change of clothes and no backpack, not even a plastic bag to put my clothes in, if I sweat I'll have wet clothes on for the day.

+ Some girl is saying she's having problems with Betsy.

I was eating pancakes that tasted like dounts with some caramel sauce. That was pretty yum yum

• I'm preparing to deliver a woman's baby, but when she refuses to cooperate and tells me that this wasn't her first time, I start to wonder why I'm doing this when I have no training.

• I'm watching a plane that appears to be flying upside down, worried that it will crash, when I recognize that I'm dreaming, and then I spend a romantic evening with a Romanian cute.

A nonlucid where I was playing with my neighbour's deaf great dane, Lei. Only she was pink. Totally pink. Pink as a pink unicorn.

Another game of cat and mouse in a dystopia.

Work thoughts intruding on dreaming life (I hate when that happens) so recall poor, despite the sense of lots of dreams:

+ trying to ride a bicycle with no handlebars, the person/people I"m with are against me doing this

+ observing a martial arts master class from outside

Catching a bus to see a movie that was playing underneath a football stadium while a game was being played.

After a series of unsettling fragments and FAs I found myself reoccurring yet arguing with a best friend from school I haven't seen in ages, and awoke (late for work) as I was vocalizing "I don't have time for this!"
