For those of you who have seen Inception, you know that Cobb says in the movie that creating dreams from memory is a bad idea because it limits the dreamer's ability to separate the dreamworld from reality. Now, since none of us are "extractors" or whatever, it clearly doesn't harbor any crazy dangers or anything, but I was wondering: Has anyone here ever recreated an instance from the past with the hopes of reliving it? Did you want to change the outcome? Did it work? And how did you feel when you woke up? |

I've done it once or twice but can't remember what they were about. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
