      Lucid dreaming from memory

For those of you who have seen Inception, you know that Cobb says in the movie that creating dreams from memory is a bad idea because it limits the dreamer's ability to separate the dreamworld from reality. Now, since none of us are "extractors" or whatever, it clearly doesn't harbor any crazy dangers or anything, but I was wondering: Has anyone here ever recreated an instance from the past with the hopes of reliving it? Did you want to change the outcome? Did it work? And how did you feel when you woke up?

I did it once. I just wanted to relive my first kiss, and that whole day.
So I did. But at the end I broke up with her. i woke up with a weird sense of dread, even though I know the girl hurt me a lot when we split up.
      *shrug*.

I've done it once or twice but can't remember what they were about.
I do relive a lot of scenes from movies, though.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
