Question Can sleep postions affect LDs and normal dreaming?

I was sleeping a little bit elevated with my top portion. Ever since I started, I haven't been recalling dreams or even becoming close to having an LD. Can my sleep positions affect my dreams?

      My theories:

Yes, they can because the way you sleep could infleunce your blood flow to your brain, which seems highly unlikely to me.
No, they can't because in your dreams your seperated from your physical body and it should be of no influence on your dreams.

      but im no expert

      In my opnion: Yes.
For example, for techniques, both time I tried FILD and succeeded, I was sleeping on my stomach. To attain SP, I must be on my back, but I usually sleep (normal sleep, without trying any technique) on my side.

To attain sleep paralysis, I've read that most people do it on their backs. But as for LDs, I highly doubt sleeping position has to do with it; you should just be in a comfortable position to fall asleep.

There may be other reasons as to why you haven't gotten lucidity yet, perhaps you're going through a simple dry spell.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yes. Since a young age, I've experienced an interesting phenomenon when it comes to sleep positions. If I sleep on my right side, facing away from the wall, I fall asleep very quickly, into a very light sleep. I frequently end up having nightmares. I almost always wake up from nightmares on my right side. When I sleep on my left side, I fall asleep slower, but more deeply. I then sleep normally. I dunno what causes this, placebo perhaps of expecting it to work.
