      Pedophilia, everything else is fine
They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore.
It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language.
Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists.
The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too.
      By dreaming, every day.

That would be sick indeed. But a good way for pedophiles to actually do what they desire without harming other though.

Falling out of bed. Otherwise, both range and domain in state is under the control not of the dreamer, but of the teacher.

Generally what people do in their dreams is their business and I wouldn't hold it against them.

Killing and violence in general... Well, I consider it mostly fine. Again, it's different if someone were to pursue lucid dreaming purely to kill and torture all the time, then maybe they need help. I think *ALMOST* anything is excusable in lucid dreaming. Violence etc, I think is fine (in the same way it's fine in video games, for instance). Everyone feels "the dark side" sometimes.

But things like rape and pedophilia... yeah, that's going too far, because having the desire to do that even in a dream means that at least on some level there's something wrong with the dreamer.

I do have to say, though, I'd rather people do sick things in lucid dreams than in real life.

Nothing. You aren't acting or using anyone, it's only you.

Kicking puppies. That's too far. But I do it anyway.

Personally, I try to act with the same level of morality during my LD's (in normal dreams you don't really control how you react to stuff) as I do in real life. This is just a choice I made, but I certainly wouldn't hold it against anyone for having different standards for themselves. You obviously can't actually hurt anyone other than yourself in a LD, so whatever. I just find that being in an agressive or malevolent mood in a LD affects the entire tone of the dream in negative ways.

Well, seeing as how you're not affecting anyone, there is no "too far." It's your dream. Do what you want.

Nothing. Except maybe things that make you uncomfortable. But why would you do that?

I don't think doing uncomfortable things are wrong. I would love to push my limits when it comes to fear, using lucid dreaming. And there is no comfotable way of doing this

torturing someone slowly and seeing pain seems to far, but your not really torturing anyone anyway.

the experiences you have in your dreams are real to your psyche, your personality. if you are lucid your actions are your responsibility. tibetan teachings indicate that karma can be realized / earned / burned through in dreams, and in this sense it is very real to your "being" if you believe in such things.

why would you want to do evil / negative things that are going to affect you negatively? you should do positive, expansive things instead.

      ps
i have been known to blow things up from time to time and kill some bad guys, but i think this is all in good fun. cannibalism and torture? wtf guys? that's twisted.

Yeah, but don't you believe that enduring pain in your dreams can make you stronger irl? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and so on.

Personally, I don't like it when I get really violent and start killing and/or hurting people. But sometimes, mostly when I'm not fully lucid, my impulses get the better of me.

I dont think there really is a too far for lucid dreaming. Everything is in your head, so is it no worse than imagining something happening? The only bad thing I could think of would be if you became addicted somehow and began to neglect your real life because of your dream one.

enduring pain can indeed be a purification process, but it seems you guys are talking about inflicting pain on others.

i once shot myself in the head in a lucid dream to see how it felt to die. that was an eye opener. sometimes i cogitate on watching some kind of war/brutality/torture to make myself stronger in a sense, but never to be actively participating in it. ive found that there are much better ways to occupy those few valuable minutes of LD time.

in non-lucid dreams i frequently beat the crap out of people, going so far as one time i microscopically saw how i was crushing this guys bones. but i wouldn't do this in a LD, unless i was fighting bad guys in a video game or something.

Just remember, it's your dream, so, in the end, what ever you do, you are doing it to yourself!!!

I kind of made this up, but it makes sense as dreams are connected to your feelings and mood. I don't think it would be a good idea to mess with them.

Kicking puppies will make your ability to do lucid dreaming dissappear. I'm not kidding.
