Trapped in my room in my lucid dreams.

Hey, so in my maybe last 4 lucid dreams I have been trapped in my room. The main reason that I can't get out is that I'm having problems with moving. I have tried being calm and trying to force my way, but just getting out of bed is close to impossible. This is getting a little frustrating. Any ideas?

I've never had issues with being stuck to my bed, but from what I remember, other people have said to ask a DC for help. You know, expect someone to come around and stand beside you, then pull you up. Don't expect there to be a force pulling you back onto the bed. It helps to relax before trying to get up.

Sounds like a plan. I'm always alone though, so hope I get got someone in to my room. It's not the bed that is the problem though, it's that I feel like I'm weighing 400 kilos. I have gotten out of bed serveral times but walking around is also difficult. But maybe a dc can help me here too. Would be nice if like Sylvester Stallone came so he could carry me around^^

You think this is unfortunate, but it's actually a good thing. This trapped feeling your experiencing is sleep paralysis and can easily turn into an out of body experience. My advice to you would be to call upon someone by screaming to them to help pull you out of your body. Try it and let me know what happens.

Ben dream? Since when was sleep paralysis a good thing? Most people who experience this are bloody traumatised like me and scared of sleeping.

Relax and rock back and forth gently. Try to increase your pace, building up momentum until you can roll off the bed, or out of your body. Another trick is to imagine an entirely new scene. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. A recent memory will work. For example, you could imagine walking through your house, touching things. Try to use touch and movement to immerse yourself in the new scene. Once you are asleep and dreaming, your attention is the only thing keeping you in any particular scene. Pay attention to something else, and the dream will change accordingly.

I don't think he's talking about sleep paralysis. He's talking about not being able to move in a lucid dream.

Easy way to tell if it was SP or not - in SP, you're 100% aware because you're practically awake. In most lucid dreams, you're not fully aware.

some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Haha I was scared to do that this morning because I didn't want my real body rolling out of bed onto all the crap my floor. Ouch
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

Raetin is right. It is not a sp. I did the nose pinch rc serveral times and it never failed, and I can walk around, it's just damn hard. Rocking back and forth gently might work. And my window is right in front of my bed too, so I might be able to throw my self out of the window when I get enough momentum.

Finally managed to get out. I used force and managed to get out the window I think. Forgot my DJ at home so I can't remember all the details.
