      Hahaha. Awesome.

As nerve-racking as they can be, many of my most favorite dreams are the dangerous ones. Just the myriad emotions that you can experience within them; the ways you find yourself reacting to certain situations; the feeling of victory when you're able to overcome the challenges; sometimes, just the fear and intensity themselves...they are all apart of what I love about dreaming.

Cmind I thought we were past this.......

As for everyone else. I'm getting a better understanding of why people fight. It's definitely expanded my opinion. And for that I thank you.

I fight either to defend myself or practice dream control. I'm not the least bit violent in waking life, but enjoy the occasional dream fight.

I havn't fought in a dream yet. But as I am taking up a martial art in the next couple of weeks, it'll be useful to actually simulate a really unpredictable fight and see how I deal with it. I'm not really one for randomly killing DC's though...

Sorry if this makes me sound like a noob, but what does DC stand for? Dream Characters?

      - I look at em and immediately start trying to prove [it] is all in my head and that none of this/them are real. I usually float around a little bit and giggle at their expressions, but 85% of the time it back fires and I end up doing battle with the entire community.

My fights are never intentional - - I can't help it if I'm curious.

The answer is so simple, I like to fight, thats all. Same reason why other people do certain stuff in their dreams. Why do I like to? It is just that the thrill of battle, having an opponent, figuring out how my oppenent will move or how stuff will come depending on my moves, just so much new stuff to try, regardless of how strong the enemy is.

So far I've only fought on forces that were either hostile towards me or my family and friends. I haven't killed a DC yet, not sure if I even will.

I get irritated at dream characters following me and disrupting my dreams, so I often spend the entire dream trying to fight them off. Sometimes however I can't fight, it's like being stuck in goo or I'm under water, only on odd occasions can I actually beat a dream character up...
