      Lucid Dream Groups

      Hey

      Today I was thinking...

"Wouldn't it be cool to have your own group with people who are determined to lucid dream. A small group where people can share there LD experiences and post there progress learning from other group member mistakes or learning from there success."

That is when I decided to make this thread. This thread is made so people can make and form there own lucid dream group.

You group can be something as simple as a DILD group or something more advanced such as a shared dream group. Your group can be anything you want it to be.

Now this is how it's going to work:

Each group will have a group leader (The one who started the group).

Each group will discuss there progress in one of the group leaders dream journal posts. (This way we don't have this thread crowded up with posts and the group would be more private). In each DJ there is a comment section at the bottom of each page where each member can post and discuss there topic. Now if you would like to start your own group you can just edit a dream journal you have already made and change the name and the description and all that stuff so people wont look at your group and wonder what its all about. Or you can just create a new DJ if you haven't made one.

To edit a dream journal post, click on your dream journal post and have your computer mouse go over the title of your DJ post. A pencil should appear and once you click that pencil you will be able to edit your DJ.

You will need to send the link of the dream journal link to each member in your group.

Anyone who wants to start a group should post this information

Group Name: (Name of your group).
Group Type: (WILD, DEILD, DILD, MILD etc.)
Number of Members: (How many people can be in your group).
Group members: (The members who are currently in your group).
Group description: (Just a short description of your group).
Group requirements: (Post any group requirements (if any) here).
How to Join: (How to join your group).

Group Link: (Here so DV members can see your group discussion. This is optional.)

NOTE: This thread is mainly for recruiting members for you group!

      Happy group making!

This is an awesome idea. I should make a website specifically for this purpose, any one agree?

well this site is kinda like a larger versoin of this, people sharing their experiences and helping others with lucid dreams, but the small groups part sounds nice since it would kinda be more personalized.

Then maybe I could send it to dreamviews and maybe they would add it to the site as a new feature.

I really like this idea so I joined your group. I like the idea of having small groups because you dont have to focus on so many people. Don't studies show that you learn better in small groups than big ones? It's something like that.

Yeah, it's why private schools stick to smaller class numbers.

At first that's what I thought. That DV is just a bigger version. But I think it would be better actually actively working and helping other people that you've gotten to know more than the whole site.

This is an excellent idea. I really hope the site owners here decide to include it in DV.
      Would be sweet

My wild group is now full. I can't make any changes to my post because of the time limit DV has on editing posts.

Ive been wanting to do something like this for awhile now actually. I think smaller groups always add some extra motivation. But I'm not sure what kind of group to join yet! A dream yoga group might be nice.

Yeah thats why I wanted to start this.

DV is like a big group the problem with this is that a conversation could be started on something and then a year later someone reads its after it has pages and pages of text. In a group each member will know whats going on from the beginning. When the first post was made.

I must be a tard, what's this about? lol

I'm creating a schedule to attempt WILDs more often, as I'm determined to figure this out. The closest I've come is missing the "switch over" and falling asleep, but having a TON of false awakenings in the setting of my WILD. I mean... either I fall asleep (today I tried a nap WILD and don't remember falling asleep, but when I gave up and sat up, I remembered something that didn't happen during the WILD -- my wife offered me gum), or I just stare at the back of my eyelids until I either get ill (once broke into a full-on sweat) or bored beyond reason (I've sat for 2-3 hours, fully conscious).

      Is there any hope? lol

I've gotten the sweating before, I've also needed about 2-3 hours until I realized you need to relax in addition to staying still.
Sounds like the false awakenings could be a good way to get lucid though. I think you're close. Just keep working at it.
