Yes and no. I would like more people to know about it, but at the same time that would probably corrupt it a little. There would be so many "more" scams with supplements and lessons. Plus people would just get annoying with it. I remember when Inception came out. I told someone about lucid dreaming after they saw it, I told them that it's possible to do whatever they want in their dreams. Next thing I know they bring a totem to school and think they're going to master it in one night. I told them it takes a bit more work than spinning a top ever couple hours. They completely lost interest and as far as I know haven't given LDing a thought since. I think that's where the general public is with lucid dreaming, most people would want to but couldn't be bothered. So it probably could never truly be mainstream.
