The other night i had a DILD. I became lucid once i saw the moon in the sky, from within my house, speeding across the sky. |

Sometimes I just imagine that I'm already whatever I wanted to shapeshift into, or use expectations to envision myself as [insert creature/object here]. It works very well. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

This is similar to conjuring objects. Lets say you want a gun. Clasp your hands as if you are holding one. Even pull the imaginary trigger. It doesn't matter if you see it or not, it works... You may notice that it is the will, not the physical appearance of the object that does the work. |

Hmm...i don't mean to sound dumb or anything but i am still not sure what that has to do with me attacking my dad? |

I will try transforming into something more complex next time i get the chance. Possibly a dragon. |

While Freud is widely renowned for inventing modern psychology/psychopathology, he had some... odd ideas about the sexual development of children. The culmination of his more leftfield ponderings was the 'Oedipal Complex' that develops in children around the age of five and resurfaces at 15, so-called after the ancient greek legend of Oedipus who unknowingly murdered his father and slept with his mother. |

Sorry for making that remark in the first place. It was a joke about Freud's ideas of silly one sided dream interpretation, not about you, wolf. |

It's not a can of worms it's generally a good idea to open, I'm not implying anything about your relationship with your parents. |

Lol that's messed up u attacked your dad. But to each it's own. In reality you are not your physical body you are pure consciousness formless in the astral dream scape you are whatever u perceive yourself |

Yep, behaving like the creature you want to become is often a highly effective method for shape-shifting when willpower alone doesn't work. |

To discuss the shapeshifting method - I was a bird a once in a regular dream, and have morphed my body (still human). I've never transformed into another kind of creature. I think this would be an awesome thing to do, if done with good awareness and feeling associated with that. Although I also enjoy being a lucid dreamer, able to control the world around me |
