If you don't do it during the day, then you won't do it in your dreams. You don't know you are awake or not while dreaming, you just assume you are awake, like you are right now. If you don't check, you'll never know. |

I have never once become lucid by actually doing an RC, but I have gone a few days without RCing (just using awareness practices) and end up forgetting what the types of RCs were. It's best to practice them along with mindfulness, because you might not remember them as well in the dream. |
