Yuck!!

But I must admit, I HAVE had similar dreams!! Usually when I wake up after them I have to go to the bathroom, so I guess that's why I dream about it. But sometimes the toilet is really weird, like once it was basically a huge tub or almost a swimming pool in the middle of a nicely carpeted room (really extravagant, beautiful bathroom like you;'d find in a mansion) - and it's overflowing!! And sometimes I feel like I need to get it cleaned up quick before anybody sees it. Nasty!!

Oh man, just reminded me. I had a whole series of dreams about The Plumber. In the first one he forced me and a friend to stand next to a urinal on the wall right in plain view in a qucikie-mart type gas-station/food mart. People - men and women and kids... were lined up to use it, and when each one was done we had to flush it. Somehow it was a 2-man operation. This disgusted me and seemed stupid... why can't they flush their own toilet? So I went floating around all through the store about 2 feet off the ground in a laying-down position on my back, then out the door and around in the streets. The Plumber came after me with a bunch of Chinese coolies in straw hats all trying to knock me down and make me do menial labor. They were throwing bricks at me as I flew past a telephone line, and I got tired of them, so I hovered in place and stopped the bricks with mind power, quickly turned the nearest one into a rapid-fire series of sculptures... really complicated crazy things like little carved elephants with tiny elephants inside their bellies etc, and I morphed it through a whole series of different materials including gold, platinum, and all sorts of heavy radioactive metals just for fun.

This impressed The Plumber, but he was still determined. Now he revealed more power than he had shown before, and with a gesture he had me standing on the ground in a huge dark warehouse with only a spotlit area where I was standing, part of a circle of workers - we each had a hand-truck (dolly) with a box on it. There was one gap in the circle, and whoever was at the "front of the line" led the group in a song as we walked around till the song was over, then he'd step forward across the gap and become the last guy in line, and the next would do his song. When it was my turn, instead of singing, I used mental power to open my box and make the contents float up into the air. I don't remember just now what it was, but I think I did the same as with the brick earlier... turned it into all sorts of crazy things. The Plumber shook his head (did a classic facepalm, before the term was invented actually) and sighed, asked m why I persisted in doing these creative things when I should be doing productive work instead.

He showed up in a few more dreams right around the same time, always trying to make me stop flying and using dream powers and do menial work. Each time I saw him he seemed more powerful, and after a while he seemed like he emitted a glow of power. I never did give in to him though.

I always thought these dreams were about my artistic creativity and pursuing that rather than getting some crappy job that ate up all my time and my soul.

Wow. As I was reading that recollection I was thinking, "If I had that dream I'd think the dream is about my artistic creativity and pursuing that rather than getting some crappy job that ate up all my time and my soul."

A crappy job that eats up all your time and soul. Oh boy.

I've had plenty of those. Fortunately the soul has a way of regenerating. Especially if you come home from work and make stuff.

I don't want to spend too much time on the shrink's couch (or hijack Ermac's thread!) but as I've got older I've come to view my creativity/creative urge (whatever you want to call it) as an absolute curse rather than a gift. I'd give anything to be one of those people that does a dull 9 to 5 job five days a week and is always happy and comes in to work on a Monday morning with a smile, a quick shrug of the shoulders and a chirpy, "Weekend soon goes, doesn't it?"

By any chance do you do art professionally? I started down that road once... in the late 80's I started doing airbrush T-shirts, but people always wanted incredibly stupid things rather than anything artistic! It was a mixed experience, good/bad, but what I took away from it is - never let money and art get mixed together. Once they do, your integrity is shot. I'm staying amateur all the way, and enjoying complete freedom to do exactly what I want.

No, I don't do art in the "putting pretty images on paper" kind of way. I have tried to find "creative jobs" without success, or find some occupation that won't make me wish I have some kind of non-fatal accident at work just so I can get out for a few hours. Yes, it IS that bad. "Nobody likes their job" and "Everyone's bored at work" people say to me - typical "soundbite solutions" you get from people. I tell people to stand next to a wall and slap their hand against the wall every second from nine in the morning until five. Don't just stop after a couple of minutes and say, "Yeah, I get what you mean" - keep going until the boredom is unbearable. That's how I feel. If you put me in an empty room from 9 to 5 I would NEVER get bored; I find my own thoughts fascinating (don't expect anyone else to!) It's when I can't think in the way I want to I run into problems. I probably sound like some kind of loser or victim but I've got a wall of psychology books on my bookshelf I've read and memorised and I have won awards for my creativity - if anyone can come up with a solution that I haven't considered I'd be glad to hear it.

I did got one of this dreams a few month ago. I went to the toilet and started to unload-crap. I noticed that the green shit was coming out of my arse like a machine gun. After some time, the entire room was full of crap and I was like starting to drown and taste it(it had CORN BITS! 0_o). So scary.....................

Yea, its like your shooting out crap like a fully automatic gun until the bathroom is filled with shit, then when you flush it don't even work, so your just standing and watching the toilet overflow

I get dreams like this all the time. I guess it is a good sign that the most stressful thing in my subconscious is a fear of dirty bathrooms. I can live with that.

Hey Ermac, since I was a child I always had Bad dream about toilets and still do...I am usually in a big toilet blockj with like 30 or so toilets in it..its kind of creepy there and I remember it in my dream from when I have previously been there...there is always something wrong about this place, it just doesn't feel right and I think "ohh god not this toilet" ((yet unfortunatly dont get lucid from it)) yes sometimes I have had to pee infront of people, this toilet block is for men & women and I hate it....but yeah..it's always the same toilet block for me..I don't think anything puts the creeps up me more than when i go to this place in my dream...weird!!!

For me nothing with feces but toilets yes. I was at a Wal-Mart and this guy from the show Weeds
started pissing on me and chased me out of the store whilst doing so. It was brought up in another dream as well and I saw him across the street looking at me, strangely. Both non-lucid

Hmm,thats funny,i dont get disgusting toilet dreams.i once had a toilet dream where i had to go,so i went to the bathroom,it was really elegant.the floor was carpet,excluding the toilet stalls,which had marble floors.It even had a waiting room,with a plasma tv.Even the toilet seat had a heated seat.and it smelled like perfume in there.Its weird...

Omg I remember a LOOONG time ago in fourth grade my teacher would let us share our dreams first thing on the morning and so one morning she decided to share and she said in her dream she was sitting outside of kid rocks mansion which in her dream she said it touched the clouds and she had to take a huge crap so she saw this toilet outside of his mansion just sitting there in the middle of his yard and she had to take a dump soooo bad she ran over with kid rock in front of his mansion sitting in a chair and shit in front of god and everyone........ It's almost as if you have the same dream as me. The toilet block is always HUGE. It's very open. No walls or barriers around the toilets. The toilets are usually dirty.

It would be the funniest thing ever if we proved shared dreaming is real by all using the same disgusting toilets

Once I dreamt that I was having a piss. I woke to find I'd wet myself, I was 12 at the time and it was so incredibly embarrassing.
