      first lucid dream help!

ok i need help as im not really sure if i had a lucid dream. I have had a dream journal for the past 2 weeks and have been trying to mild using reality checks. lately I have been getting up at around 3 and trying to wild to increase my chances. Anyway so last night i woke from my alarm and layed on my back ready to wild i was really tired and unfocused so i decided to change positions as i was tired. at some point i must have drifted of to sleep. Then some time later i can remember dreams forming and thinking this cant be right how can i be lucid i did not do a rc and cant remember sp. Now the rest of this is going to sound weird as most of my dreams normally are. I found myself in a public restroom the dream wasn't very vivid and clearly a dream not stable at all. The ground did not seem supported at first. After that i looked down at my feet and tryed to walk it didnt really work and i kind of just went from scene to scene like a camera rather than a person. On the ground was a dead body and for some reason i was convinced it was jesus. I could not see the persons face at first but as i looked closely sure enough it was jesus. Then i decided to change locations by spinning but found myself in blackness. I think i also tryed to spawn a person but i think i lost lucidity at that point. At first i past this off as a dream about lucid dreaming but now im pretty convinced it was real.

sorry for the long post but my questions are: Exactly how lucid was I?
i am sure i was aware that i was lying in my bed but the whole jesus thing and my thinking felt limited. Also i expected to be really excited but i rather just took it as i went and was not really excited.
Secondly: How did I become lucid?
This whole dream was fast and unclear so i have a feeling of doubt as to exactly how lucid i was if at all.

How lucid or how clear? Lucid is being aware of being in a dream, the clairity level though seems somewhat low, as you doubted the lucid at first, which could be the whole problem with control/movement <.<
Natural lucid of course, it happens to everyone once in a while.

Well I think i was well aware that i was laying in bed but the clarity was very poor as when i focused on somthing everything else semt to fade into the distance it was quite dark and gloomy looking. Also I think the confusion as to how i got lucid lead to a feeling of doubt which did not help my dream control. But the whole jesus thing makes me wonder how lucid i was but like i said at times i felt well aware.

Ignore HOW you got lucid, the fact that you are should be enough. Just would like to say its not reality checks that cause lucidity either, most of the time you will get that feeling of "hey something isn't right here. Maybe im dreaming" THEN you do a reality check to confirm. Sometimes ive become lucid and not even needed to reality check at all.
Don't worry about not remembering sp etc either... Sometimes during a WILD you will lose consciousness and drift into a dream without being aware, this happens to me a fair bit too, so no worries just keep practising and you'll have it soon

Simply because you can breathe, doesn't mean your alive, or that you really live....
