Yes it is |
Well this just started after I began getting 7-9 hours of sleep. |
I think it is but most people can't remember it when they wake up in the morning. |
Oddly enough when I first started wanting to recall my dreams in a dream journal, I woke-up a lot during the night to write down bits of the dream and go back to sleep. Then I was able to remember all of my dreams (they were kind-of short) upon awakening, as if I trained myelf to remember them all at once. Now my dreams are a hell of a lot longer, and a lot harder to remember whether I wake up after one or not. |

Perfectly natural. You wake up after every sleep cycle, only most people don't remember it. This used to happen to me when I first started out and was insanely motivated. I'd catch myself waking up loads and would write down more dreams as a result. Then it all stopped for some reason... Not too sure how to get back to where I was. |
Yup, it's normal. I do this, and instead of trying to DEILD like a smart person, I usually compromise that by rolling over and finding my pen in the dark to sloppily scribble down some key words so I can remember my dreams when I wake up for good. But yea, you're fine. |

If I'm dreaming, how come I can do...THIS! *grows fourth arm*

Lucid Dreaming Goals:
Lucid dream consistently [ ] DBZ-style fight with giant monster [ ] Find dream guide [ ] Write music [ ] Kill someone I hate [ ] Sex with friend's hot mom [ ] Be a girl (for curiosity's sake) [ ] Jam with a favorite band [ ]
This is normal, and encouraged if you are trying to record all your dreams. You will normally only notice the awakenings if you are paying attention. Most people just roll over and go back to sleep, forgetting it ever happened. It becomes more noticeable as we grow older, also. |

We all do, most of us don't remember, it can be a good thing for recall! |
No but when I first started to really get into my recall, I woke up 3-4 times and remembered so much of my dreams. If I don't, than I only remember 1 short dream. It's good so don't fret. Just keep doing it since it barely affects your energy throughout the day. It's also the best way to get into a lucid dream but I only woke up 3-4 times for about a few weeks out of the year so I never really LD much at all. |
Like Graves said, we wake up after every sleep cycle, around every 90 min. Since I heard about about this I've paid attention to the times I wake up and it's actually pretty cool how accurate it is. |
