Smile After a year of no lucid's..

Im finally back home (from University) and now have somewhat of a normal sleep cycle! (Too much partying at Uni haha)

I was trying LDing last year around this time, and was slowly getting success, but then University mucked it all up. So here I am, more determined than ever - and its currently 4:40am - in the middst of my first WBTB this year. Wish me luck.

nb: I have been trying to LD over the year, but havent had anything close to luck Im kind of skeptical, as it feels as though I may have lost the ability, but I thinki just have to get back into the swing of things again?

I understand that after a year of no success, skeptical is probably a weak word to describe the disappointment. That said, optimism is vital, and one thing that has always worked for me when I'm not getting something right, is to gather more information on the subject. It educates you, increases your chances through knowledge, and perhaps most importantly, raises your spirit.

If you haven't already, go pick up Stephen LaBerges Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming, not only is it a key how-to book, but his theory on behavior and usages for lucid dreaming honestly makes you like a child in a candy store. Good luck my friend!

Just continue doing what you were doing back then and it should come back. When it comes back, try and find a way to fit it into your UNI partying schedule (since you're obviously gonna be sleeping afterwards anyway right)
