Hello DV, I have been here for awhile and have a few lucid dreams under my belt. What I have been seeing is that LD techniques are becoming more and more dependent on technology; such as CAN-WILD and setting an alarm for WBTB.

The reason I think this is because, there are people who are able to have a LD any day they want, and do whatever they want, and that was awhile back when we did not have any technology.
Since lucid dreaming has been a skill practiced for hundreds of years, do you believe all of us are still able to learn without the aid of technology; therefore not becoming dependent on it? Or do you think technology is just advancements that need to be used in the future of LD?

My personal goal is to try not to use the aid of technology (maybe an alarm here and there) but to learn to LD without being dependent on technology.
