After months of practicing I finally found something that works for me. Each night I did this I became more lucid every time. I went to bed at 10pm my alarm was set to 3 am. After the alarm woke me up I stayed up for 30 mins. I easily passed the time by watching an episode of an anime (Some say bright lights mess up recall. Does not effect me so this method is fine for me). So after 30 mins I go to sleep. Today I had a good level of awareness in my dream. I won't put everything I have in my DJ. I will make a full DJ entry later. So anyway first the dream started as a non-lucid dream I was some soldier, and the dream felt video game like. Then all of a sudden I had a false awakening. I "woke" up in my dream bed. I slowly opened my eyes. Now in real life I usually keep my alarm clock right next to my bed and my dresser is on the end of my bed. So once I opened my eyes I saw that that my alarm clock was on the other side of my room sitting on top of my dresser. I was like "Who moved my alarm clock..wait a minute yeah this can't be right this is a dream!" I then did a nose plug RC to confirm this and I was right I was dreaming. I always planned to summon my subconsciousness so i can tell it to make me have LDs every night. Once I opened my room door my 3 cousins were waiting for me. I asked one of them to take me to my subconsciousness and they said "no" freakin jerks man how dare they! Anyway the dream scape was an almost exact replica of my house. The inside of it anyway. All the people I live with in real life was there but there was one mysterious dream character there. She looked like a women in her mid 30's with long blond curly hair. I asked her who she was but I got no reply. At this point i sorta lose a bit of awareness but still fairly lucid. I still knew the people were just mental fabrications. Anyway that's all for now. I will have a DJ entry about this explaining everything in more detail soon. I can't wait to go to bed tonight. |
